Can you image how I felt when I wanted to have a sit-down lunch and was served food in plates like this and in cold take-out boxes directly from the fridge? The hostess was nice and she helped with my credit card issue, but ultimately I came here for food.

if i could give it 0 stars, i would! this place is horrible! the food tastes like it's been sitting in dish water for days! the food isn't very fresh. i ordered the soup dumplings and i immediately spit them out. the noodles were too tick like they were store bought and the soup had absolutely no flavor. my food was never brought to my table, i had to go to the front and grab it myself. the staff was very rude to me and the tables were disgustingly sticky like they hadn't been cleaned in months. while i was getting ready to leave a BUG ran across my plate and the waitress did nothing but tell me to kill it. i paid my bill but i refused of course and she tried to tell me i couldn't leave without doing it so i gave her 50 cents and left.0/5. i would not recommend this place.

I just came from eating at this place and I gotta say, I'm very disappointed. I ordered the soup dumplings and lobster fried rice but my dumplings were RAW. I asked the woman that took by order if she could bring me a new fully cooked batch and she charged me for both oders! The lobster fried rice wasn't very good either. The rice tasted like it had gotten burned at the bottom and the food didn't taste very fresh. I didn't tip because I was charged for the raw dumplings but when I got home i see that my card has been charged for $3 extra for her tip. So basically they can STEAL money from you if you pay with a card. DO NOT EAT HERE. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

if you're black, DO NOT GO HERE. my experience with them was terrible. the lady was extremely rude and tried to tell me and my sister that we weren't allowed to eat inside of the restaurant (other people were sitting in). the waitress refused to bring us our food to our table but brought everyone else theirs. while we were in the middle of ordering she walked away to take someone else's order! another black couple walked in and she did the exact same thing to them! ive always ordered from them on doordash but i decided to go to the restaurant for my first time. there are no real dishes, just styrofoam and plastic wear. the soup dumplings were amazing but definitely not worth the treatment i received. i refused to tip since she was so rude and she was upset about it. ive learned my lesson. go to hell

Overall, it’s not a bad place for dim sum. Service was fast and they have a large menu. Most of the dishes were tasty. My favorite was their soup dumplings. They were delicious! My biggest complaint is the lack of sauce for everything. The flavors are great, but it needs an extra something to make it that much better. I wish the fried squid came with some sauce. Same for the spring rolls. Even the noodles needed some more sauce! When we asked the kitchen as the noodles came out pretty dry and with little meat, they told us it was not possible. The prices were a little high for the portions. Overall, it was decent, but I would not return unless there was more sauce added.

First of all you service was poor, and food is mediocre at best. Food is served on styrofoam and paper plates (not even dinner size) when dining in. Orders were small and the taste was nothing spectacular. We ordered soup dumplings which were kind of doughy and filling not very flavorful. Braised sliced beef was OK. Braised pork rice, was basically a plate of rice with minced pork sauce on top. Asked for fried rice cakes Shanghai style, which they got confused with Shanghai style fried rice, which turned out to be plain egg fried rice. Did not see what made it Shanghai style. Charged $8 for a small plate.I would not go back to that restaurant. There are so many other better restaurants in Philly Chinatown.

4.5 stars. Ordered the lobster fried rice, house special, and some dumplings. House special and dumplings were phenomenal, but the lobster fried rice was extremely bland. I have to assume they just straight up forgot to add salt, because everything else was delicious. But nothing a little soy sauce couldn't fix

Food was Delicious. Love love loveeee their soup

Soup dumplings were very soupy. Can't go wrong with it! Joe's Shanghai in NYC Chinatown is still better, but if you're craving soup dumplings in Philly, can't go wrong with them. Fast service.

Great quality food, best and fluffiest dumplings I've ever had
