Delicious food, incredibly friendly waitstaff — can't want to go back!
Experience
Everything we ordered was excellent and piping hot. Soondubu jigae (seafood and pork varieties) ox bone soup, and spicy stir-fried pork were flavorful and good portion size. Rice served on side with banchan of chicken hot dogs, kim chee, takuwan, fried tofu cubes and broccoli. Service was very attentive. Would definitely return!
Great new Korean option convenient to the Kimmel Center/Avenue of the Arts. We had the bulgogi and the chicken bi bim bap in the hot stoneware bowl, and both were excellent with generous portions. The restaurant provides a range of small relish plates (all were tasty, from kimchi to hot dogs in bbq sauce!), and we appreciated that the waiter told us we didn't need to order an appetizer to have plenty of food. The bill without drinks but with tip was $30/person, which seemed very reasonable given the quality and quantity.
We really enjoy the dolsots there (I had bibimbap with beef, dining partner had the hemul (spicy seafood)). Clyde and the team provide great service and the banchans are delicious.
Galbi not grilled well— not caramelized. Last time we tried going, we were asked to confirm reservation the day before (which we did), but restaurant was closed when we arrived— no call, not even a note on the door to explain. Gave them a second chance but was disappointed with the food quality
A delicious Korean food spot in Philadelphia. Definitely recommend it. Portions are big so make sure you bring the hungry stomach with you.
Great Korean spot in Center City. Portions are good and the food tastes great. Will definitely return!
Friendly service, casual atmosphere, and delicious food. The whole family loved it!
Poor and condescending service.
