For the past two weeks we have gotten food for our gathering from Ron's. Let me tell you the food was delicious. The oxtails and fried fish were excellent choices with sides of beans and rice, cabbage and plantains. Before Friday I didn't eat plantains, now I can't wait to order again. Again I don't remember to comment until after I've eaten the food. So the next time I will try to remember a photo. Portion size allows for left overs.

Terrible. You may get sick!!I use to LOVE Ron’s. I have no idea what happened to them.Tonight I ordered a large curry goat platter with chicken. I paid extra for this and they gave me only a large curry chicken instead and the chicken was undercooked. Actually pink inside. I couldn’t eat it because it was so soft and almost slimy. The Mac n cheese was hard. When I put my fork in it, all the cheese came off the top and the bottom was just buttered noodles. I called to get a refund and they stopped answering the phones an hour before closing. I was so mad. I may give them another chance if they are courteous enough to call back one of my many calls. If not, I’m never going back and will be letting everybody that I know to do the same!

2/10. Very disappointing!!! Curry chicken has more food coloring then flavor. It’s unnaturally really yellow and has no pleasing taste. Platters come with two sides but I got charged $2 extra for plantains which weren’t even fully fried and were soggy. Mac and cheese has oil for whatever reason??? and tasted bland like boxed Mac and cheese. Not worth the money, they could do a lot better.

Line was fairly long but moved quick enough customer service was pretty good but the food.. lol. The curry chicken tasted great as well as the jerk chicken even though it tasted more so like bbq sauce than jerk but the sides were all terrible. The Mac and cheese tasted like the flour from the roux (there was an extra $2 charge for certain sides), the rice had flavor but was hard, the yams were bland and also undercooked and the cabbage tasted like water. Ron’s is overrated and overpriced just go to the Flavor Spot a few blocks down.

Chicken foot soup was good, but oxtails was very hard.I had to put them in my crock pot and cook them.it was ok but it use to be way better some time ago.

The food is always good at Ron's, worth the wait if the lines happen to be long. The staff is friendly and efficient. I'm a regular, if you want great Jamaican food definitely go to Ron's.

Food is good. I am very satisfied with trying out the basa fish for the first time instead of my usual, salmon! It was nice and juicy and seasoned perfectly! The crunch and tenderness was on point too! I made a good choice trying out something new! I will definitely be back when I am in the neighborhood…?

I ordered oxtail with macaroni and cheese and green beans the sides were horrible taste like cafeteria sides

This was one of the worst Caribbean restaurants I've ever been to!!!!! The rice and peas taste chalky, the curry goat is tough and hard to chew like it wasn't cooked enough, and the cabbage was very bland. I called my order in and was told it would be 20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later and had to wait 15 minutes in line. When I got to the register the older gentleman that rung me up was not very pleasant. People that like eating here must appreciate the portions because the food is not good! This is my 1st and last time patronizing this establishment. If I could I would give them no stars!

Ordered a large jerk and a large oxtail at 6:30 waiting in a long for a whole hour just to pickup for the lady to tell me they didn’t start the oxtail . Would have paid a total of 36$ for 2 platters never again jor even worth it. Turned around and walked out.
