One of the worst nightclubs I've been in a while.We reserved our table and they told us that the minimum we had to spend was $600 (it was three people counting myself in our table) when we got there out of nowhere they told us that they increased the minimum we had to spend was $800.We bought two bottles of Henny VS ($325 each) and since that wasn't enough to cover the minimum we bought a moet champagne and i our total was almost $1,300Since we were just three people we finished one bottle and we drank a tiny bit of the other one , the event ended in less than a hour and after that they were basically kicking us out.And here is the funny thing, i grab the bottle we paid for and when we were leaving the security wasn't letting us walk out with the bottle we paid for, and one of the guys i was hanging around with tried to pass $20 to the security that was stopping me and he actually grabbed it and told my friend that he is not the only one who's doing security and he basically wanted us to give all of them 20 bucks that way we could leave with the bottle we paid for.After that i am for sure not coming back there.Save your money and some stress too by not going there.
The day parties are fun but the nightclub is disappointing. The bottle service experience is not worth the money. When we arrived the workers were more worried about talking to each other then to greet our party. After we received our bottle the bottle server never returned to see if we needed anything. The point of getting bottle service is to be attended to. Usually the staff at other places check that you have enough juices, cups etc. We were interested in getting a hookah and possibly another bottle however our server was nowhere to be found. Our bottle server disappeared until the end of the night to bring our bill. Music was ok. Half the security is rude. Overall hospitality needs to improve. Good customer service goes a long way! Greet customers upon arrival. Smile. Make sure vip tables are happy and attended to so they actually return.
I'm not much into night clubs anymore but this place is awesome the ladies that served the food were very nice and beautiful,the bartenders were great and the staff were all friendly. The music was too loud, it is hard to hear yourself talk to others. But the DJ was awesome. My shoes got messed up from the drinks that were spilled on the dance floor. The floor was literally stuck to the bottom of my shoes and I can not scrap it off. They can stand to redo the dance floor with better fluid resistance materials. I came to celebrate a birthday for some one else. Overall it was okay.
The music was awful. In an attempt to get people to stay they waited longer than a half hour to let us check out. There’s no actual “bottle service”. The section chairs are awful. The DJ is trash. Management could care less. Save your money

Roar is an experience unlike anywhere else in Philly. The outside club feels like you're in Miami and the inside club is such a vibe. Friendly staff that goes above and beyond for their customers
The vibes are immaculate! The bottle presentations are so creative and unlike any club in the area. If you want a Miami feel in Philly, this is the place to be!
One of the best, if not the best clubs in Philly. Beautiful ambiance, and always such a great time.Sonica is also one of the main reasons why I go there, she is a very hospitable and gorgeous person and goes out of her way to make sure that everyone is safe and having the best time. definitely recommend to visit and go there for special occasions or just for fun!
Staff was amazing, great open format music, and a vibe that doesn't feel like it's in Philly at all. Highly recommended
