This was the first time I stopped at Rita's this summer. While I enjoyed the gelati I got, I was very surprised by how much it cost. I know everything has gone up, but I was shocked by how much.
Still the best water ice place around and that is proven by the lack of any serious competition. This one I went to is in tge Grant plaza. Customer friendly they employ teenagers and tge customers are happy here n conversational. Try a black cherry water ice with chocolate custard. It tastes like a chicolate covered cherry.
I got the gelatti with pineapple ice and vanilla ice cream. It was 106° out . The gelatti was delicious and cooled me off nicely. The young lady that waited on me was friendly and professional.
This place used to be great, now not so much. They give you quarts in a clear plastic tub. No napkins with Rita's name , it's a ghetto Rita's
I had a very rude experience at this location. I went towards closing time which is fine , I understand they close at 9 . But I arrived at 8:59 and when I approached the window , the girl made eye contact with me and put up cardboard to cover the window . It would be common courtesy for her to simple say “ Sorry we are closed for the night” . However , she just looked at me and continued to cover the glass to indicate they were closed , which I found very rude . I would not go back to this location for the simple fact that these workers have poor hospitality.
Delicious and surprising, my sister really enjoyed the way the clerk made her water ice. I wish it was done more!
Most enjoyable experience being at Rita's it was fast in getting the items that l brought
Ice cream and water ice were good and very good service
Cotton candy custard always hard to find.. but overall good experience, fast service
Love this place!!! Will be so sorry when it's time for them to close for the season.
