Traveled from Atlantic City to this hoagie shop because Google recommended it as Philadelphia's best hoagie. They are absolutely right.My daughter who has been strictly vegetarian or vegan over the past 7 years has slowly returned to occasionally eating meat. She stated often how an Italian hoagie was something she craved. Mom always tries to help out if possible. She throughly enjoyed this sandwich!!! I got the veggie hoagie. The eggplant and everything else about was awesome!Just another perk about this place... service and the people behind counter THE BEST❣️
I hadn’t been to Ricci’s in a minute. Been back twice this week. I remember them being really good before, but I feel like they are even better now. They follow all of the instructions and preferences that each customer in the line has for their sandwich with no issue or frustration and they have generally have exceptional customer service. I think Ricci’s might be my favorite hoagie in the city.
I've never been a big fan of deli meats and only ever got them from chain sandwich stores when I'm in a rush. However this place is something else. The freshness of the meat and the perfect ratio of all the ingredients. The crunchiness of the bread combined soaking up the oils perfectly. I had this sandwich 2 hours ago and have been dreaming about since.
We happened across this place - we went in to see the menu and the place had a line wrapped around its inside and one sandwich line basically working only on pick up orders! They cut your meat right there in front of you to make your sandwich, and all of the kitchen is right out where you can see it. Everything gets sliced super thin so they can cram as much deliciousness as possible into your sammy (well, hoagie). We had the old fashion Italian. It had, if I remember correctly, capicola and prosciutto, with old, sharp cheese, and lettuce, mayo, onion, and roasted red peppers. This hoagie was to die for! They also had a really good Dillonade with strawberries in it. And their whole pickle. We also sampled the long hots, but they are pretty dang hot and will come for their revenge.
I love their hoagies and fruit lemonades! Their customers service is excellent also! I would say the only thing that got under my skin was me being charged for using my card. I was not told that I was being charged 4 percent to use my debit card. I think they're one of the best in Philly with hoagies. You can taste the freshness in every bite.
One of my favorite hoagie spots! Whenever I'm in Philly, gotta get a Ricci's Italian.
Just stellar. Amazing staff and speedy production of delicious sandwiches. The bread and other ingredients are top notch! Had the Old Italian and it didn’t disappoint one bit!

Every time I come to Ricci's my sandwich is on point. NEVER had a bad experience. The workers are friendly but fast moving. I drive 1 hour 45 minutes to get my sandwich. I don't want ANY other sandwich but here.
What a happy accident! We were headed to another place to grab lunch on the way to the airport and some of the roads were blocked so we found Riccis! Super fast, delicious subs made to order to go. We all had the Old Fashioned Italian and it was a huge sandwich and so tasty! Wish I could go back!
