Great location! We were able to walk to Independence Hall, The Museum of the American Revolution, Penns Landing waterfront and area and to many fun restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They valet parking guys were so nice. Buffet breakfast in the bar was very good.

The valet, Nicholas was excellent. Our check-in was smooth and friendly. We did have a housekeeping issues as the fitted sheet only covered half the mattress. The housekeeper was gone for the evening but we received fresh sheets & made our own bed.

Joe was excellent, engaging, and efficient on our check in. His customer focused friendly efforts were outstanding. We had a long morning and his desire to make us feel welcome we’re appreciated. Breakfast staff was also very accommodating. Great room with great view. The extra space is important as we have a teenager with us.

This hotel is in a spectacular location but has a mildly dysfunctional front desk staff. During my two day stay we had issues scheduling housekeeping with the front desk and then after my stay we found nearly $120 in extra, erroneous charges. On the bright side, the valet personnel was pleasant and professional. But, clearly, it is not a well oiled machine at the Renaissance Philadelphia Downtown Hotel and anyone that values good service and accurate billing should be aware of this

For my first time staying downtown at the renaissance it was phenomenal. Everybody was extremely nice during my stay. Joe is an amazing guy to have as manager. He was very accommodating and made the stay feel just like home. Definitely recommend staying here again.

Joe, at the front desk, was amazing! He took care of every need we had. Even gave us a few free drink tickets ?. His answer to every question was , “absolutely!” Or, “of course!” 5 star service from the front desk, to the restaurant service (Sean) and valet, (solo).

Joe is awesome! Great welcoming. The whole hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Every ornate detail shouts beautiful contemporary art curated with care. I want to come back and bring my dog next time. Few drinks on arrival — pool and gym are great, and great service.

My husband and I got married here last year (wonderful experience!) and we've been back three times since including this weekend to celebrate our anniversary in the city. A great stay every time. Extra kudos to manager Joe Crismond who makes every stay special.

I didn’t stay here but had friends from out of town stay here and I witnessed the excellent service throughout my drop-ins. They even helped me with a gift from my car and I wasn’t even a guest there. It’s clean and stylish and seems like a great place to stay. My friends seemed to love it and said the room was really big.
