I hope the owner of this is aware of how unfriendly some of their stuff is. Therefore, writing this review. I went there today at about 2pm and ordered my usual latte with orange syrup. The gentleman told me No with a poker face. On my logical question “why”, he replied that this syrup is made for another drink. When I finally asked why I was getting it last time, he said “this is a hard No, no exception for you”. I have not seen such customer unfriendly attitude in US for a very long time. I used to work in a similar field, and I would never refuse customer a food / drink customization especially when it is so trivial to do.This shouldn’t be ok
I came here because my favorite coffee place was closed. I don't think this place will stay much further in business in this area. the prices are high, the servers were not friendly, and the coffee was not good. I haven't tried the food. but I sure won't. I'd comfortably say, I am not going there again.
Ultra posh coffee spot with "eating is a social construct" type pastries and damn good whole beans for sale. Best coffee spot we've found ear Penn as of yet.

This is a clean building and the staff is very friendly but that is there whole reason I gave them a two instead of a one because outside of those two things this place is terrible. The croissant had a hair on it, a long hair on it and the coffee that I got was so bad that I had to close my eyes and just kinda muscle it down. Wow I didn't enjoy this place at all, their is so many better coffee shops around so I would take a look at a few other ones in the area.
Of all the coffee shops I go to in Philly, I feel like this is one of the only places I can consistently get a good cup of coffee.
Customer service is always the best!! Love the vibe here. The Beignet's are the perfect compliment to a nice cup of tea and coffee. Unfortunately, I wish I liked the coffee But it's always either super strong or has a burnt taste.
Great service, great coffee! The guy at the counter was very helpful and I enjoyed my salted vanilla latte, he said it was a good flavor for a cozy fall morning and he was absolutely right! I would definitely recommend. The pastries looked amazing too.
