Rayaki is fine, but the Ramen could use some improvement. It’s a very gimmicky spot catering to anime fans, the food could just use a bit improvement. The broth of the spicy miso was the most enjoyable part, but the noodles were tough and so was the pork; very chewy. I think they could cure the pork longer to avoid this problem

Obviously the first thing that strikes you when entering this place is the artwork. Its everywhere, on the walls, the ceilings, even the bathrooms; I felt like I was in a cool anime graffiti museum but with better food.If youre into Anime, you'll have no shortage of things to talk about, however, the real joy of this place is the ramen. Its well prepared, tasty and fun to eat with chopsticks and a laddle. You can order your ramen thin or thick, in a variety of ways, but do yourself a favor and try the Fried Squid! OMG.The staff was nice, and to combat the language barrier and avoid sounding silly pronouncing the dishes, Rayaki has provided check menus. Simply put a check next to what you want and its promptly prepared and served. No fuss or mix ups.Rayaki is clearly aiming to be a regular pitstop for younger, culturally diverse diners but still has room for older guys like me who can appreciate creative dining.Hint: Get there early, it gets crowded at dinner time.

It was okay!! I’ve tried various ramen spots in Philadelphia, NYC and Chicago and this one was not the best! BEAUTIFUL on the inside with the paintings of different Anime's but the ramen itself doesn’t reflect that. Drinks were good, fries were also amazing! But the ramen lacked the deep flavor I’m used to, and the pork in the soup (and the extra side pork) was tough and extremely dry with no flavor. I couldn’t finish the Ramen because of this but everything else was good! Probably won’t return but I won’t deter anyone who wanted to try okay/ehh ramen and experience a really beautiful shop

-Dine in Review-Restaurant: 5/5Staff/Service: 3/5Food: 4/5Drink: 2/5Parking: Street Parking (Meter Parking)We have been to this Ramen restaurant twice now. Far from the best Ramen we've had, but it is definitely good in the convenient location that it is in.Overall the restaurant setup is pretty amazing, especially with all the anime arts they spent hours on. Great for anime lovers, restaurant is also clean inside. Ordering process couldn't be any easier, you get a pen, and a paper menu with check marks you place on the food or drink items you want to order.Service is very similar to buffet style restaurants, nothing extraordinary but good enough to create an enjoyable experience.Food/Drinks: The restaurant pride itself of having (a true Japanese Street Food experience). NOT quiet. The food is good, but not great Japanese street food quality, and the drinks are a little too sweet ( a bit too much condensed milk ).Food we ordered: Takoyaki, Chicken Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen, Shoyu Ramen.Drink we ordered: Thai Milk Tea, Avocado Milk Tea.Parking (Meter Parking): It is street parking, but you can find parking pretty easily within the same block.Overall a nice Ramen restaurant if you like decent food, and loves Anime. But if you want genuine Japanese Street Food experience, this restaurant falls short.

I like this place. Came here about 4 or 5 times already. Their ramen are not bad. I have tried their Black Garlic Ramen, Tonkatsu Ramen, Pork Belly Rice, Takoyaki, Rayaki fries, Eggplant skewer, Corn. They all taste yummy to me.Staff weren’t that welcoming and friendly in my opinion. No smile nor friendly tone when asking for their service. You place your order by marking then on their menu slip. Each table has a set of those. There is no parking lot right outside as the restaurant is located on a busy road, Cottman Ave. You will have to do street parking but around there usually have some spots available. I’ve only been there during their lunch time, so I’m not sure how busy dinner gets.

Great food and friendly service. Definitely recommend the Rayaki fries!!

Ramen was excellent and had a nice flavorful broth. The pork was a little tough but my son said his was not so I may have just got a bad cut. It was still good and will be back to try more. The bacon wrapped quail eggs were awesome.

Great food and even better environment

As an anime fans I love the anime wall here, and very nice environment to have some warm ramen in a cold day. Waiting time is actually fast during dinner rush and the food is yum and tasty.

Great concept but the food was literally trash (I threw my food away). I don’t know if it’s because we had our food to go or what but it was horrible. The balls of octopus were super mushy, as if they were thawed out and thrown in a microwave. I also ordered the spicy chicken ramen and it was TOO spicy! I literally asked them how spicy was it and she said not too spicy. My fiancé ordered the shrimp teriyaki that comes with rice and broccoli (she finished it) which came in a very small portion for it being $12 ish.Literally got a star for her food because it was at least consumable and because of the esthetic of the restaurant. It looked super super cool in there ! If you going to just hang out and grab some tea , it’s perfect. Just grab something to eat else where.
