Don't read into all these bad reviews. Philly style bagels try their very best to keep us all happy. The bagels are made a bit harder SO there is no need to toast. That's the beauty. My husband and I order 6 everything bagels and 2 tubs of their veggie and scallion cream cheese for the week, twice a month. Never disappoints. We love you, PSB. Keep up the good work
The bagels are solid (for philly at least) but if I could give them zero stars for how difficult they make it to order, I would. Try to place an order for pickup and you'll get their Caviar page that only allows for delivery, and then try to contact them through any other means and you'll get nowhere. Not only do they not have a phone number listed anywhere but they explicitly say they don't check their email.Should be extremely simple to call ahead and pick up, instead you just get frustrated. Stopped dealing with it and started getting bagels elsewhere.
I found my local bagel shop!The good:Easy online ordering, lots of selections for breakfast and lunch. The ratios of bagel to fillings is perfect. You know a bagel is good if it stands on its own without being toasted.Love the whitefish salad on everything bagel.The bad:I wish they had a sausage option to the breakfast sandwich to switch it up from the bacon.
We were there 45 minutes before they closed. Unfortunately they had sold out of the bagels. However, they still serve coffee. My girlfriend and I went in to get one of the coffees and were basically kicked out and then they locked the doors because they had shut things down. I thought the customer service was horrible and I don't care if the bagels are good, I won't be coming back. ARCH ST LOCATION CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!
Disappointed! Personally I enjoy soft light fluffy bagels the bagels here are really dense and SMALL I posted a picture next to a Roku remote for reference !! Unfortunately they don’t taste FRESH. Considering the price we paid I don’t think we will be returning here. On a positive note the fresh OJ and spicy sauce they use were very delicious.
I have gone here for a long long time and it's always been amazing.However, recently they changed to only online ordering. That means you cannot call by phone to place any orders.Ever since this change I have never received the correct order. There are very specific options online to specify your order and it is always ignored. I think after this order I am done going here for breakfast for a while until phone lines open back up so I can be sure I don't have to drive all the way home just to realize I cannot eat the food I paid for
Worst bagel I have ever had in my life my jaw actually hurt after attempting to eat it. Ended up throwing our bagels out because they were impossible to eat. You have to specify to have them toasted on the mobile app, which is fine but you should still be able to ACTAULLY eat an untoasted bagel. Huge waste of time and money.
I don't know who these people are who are calling this the best bagel they ever had, because it's truly one of the worst I've ever had. My rock-hard cinnamon raisin bagel felt and tasted like it was two days old. It was not toasted, nor was it even remotely warm. One star for the bagel, but at least the service was nice and timely. I just don't get the hype at all.
Poppyseed with the fresh peach jam and cream cheese. This might be the best bagel I've ever had!
This was my boyfriend and I's first time trying this place and we were very disappointed. The bagels were so hard that our jaws started to hurt. We went to the Fishtown location. Definitely will not be going back.
