I went to a Pastors Conference the initial restaurant we went to is closed for breakfast on Mondays so McPherson who was leading our trip and who was familiar with the Philadelphia area recommended Pete's Clown house. I have to admit the name of the restaurant sort of left me guessing whether it was going to be good or not. But not only was it good it was absolutely fantastic! And not only was the food great, but the overall experience was second to none. The servers here we're just amazing! I mean I can't say enough about them. And even better yet deodorant to cook kept sending out different breakfast items for us to try out! It was sort of like you had gone to one of those expensive steakhouses like the Fogo de Chao were they continually bring different things around to your table and you try them out! Of course Pete's Clown house is nowhere near the price of Fogo de Chao, but the experience was every bit as good!Our group within from out of town so they probably did something special for us because there were 15 of us! But whatever the case, I give a raving review to this restaurant for making us feel so welcome and treating us like royalty! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Your classic old school diner. The owner does most of the cooking he and his staff will have you laughing at some of the things they say to each other. It is one place where you leave be full and with money left in your pockets.
Been a staple since I was a kid. Can’t go wrong ordering from here! Always good and never too expensive!
The lady that took my order was very polite! Food was excellent! I inhaled it so I did not get a chance to take a picture! My new breakfast spot!
So my old breakfast place that delivered sold to new owners and we have been searching for that new breakfast place to replace you rong we bring since the change of owners precovid. Most places charge more for breakfast food then their dinner menu which is absurd to me. This place right price, right portion quality home cooked style food. My family is unanimous this is the new place. Cant decide if we like the grits or home fries more. It delivers thru grubhub. Grubhub delivery for the win I'm a permanent customer. Cant wait to try the cream chip beef friday.
Change your gloves please stop the dirty things went in there last week and the cook was doing the most work the phone with the gloves on and also touching your food forks was dirty seen someone saving the napkins like oh my my kids let me know about this place and I wanted to see for myself never have I felt so bad the staff was nice but this place needs to be more clean
Old type breakfast spot where everyone seems to know everyone. Little worn down inside. I picked up some take out at a busy time. Little heavy on the greasy side. Big portions though.
The girls who answer the phone are always very polite and pleasant! Ron is a very nice neighborhood man. Very nice customer service, definitely not what you’d expect. They have the best cream chip beef around. Great food, friendly staff. You can’t go wrong with the clown house!
Little place off the beat path. Worth the trip. All the staff and servers were very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. The food was good and was prepared quickly. They have regular customers that have their food prepared and drinks made without even asking. They just walk in an immediately their food is being prepared. Its worth the trip
