For a member only venue the bouncer has no information and is always pushing for a fight. This used to welcome restaurant industry people, but now only a member can bring you. You’ll end up chain smoking and drinking cheap beer, the show at the door is unnecessary.
Beware this is a members only bar. The person who opened the front door answered our questions about their membership and how to get it.

The tradition of poetry readings has not been lost to the older generations; it is still alive and well and the literary community in the city of Philadelphia is stronger than ever. The P&P is a tiny hole in the wall with a great bar, lots of heart, and the perfect space to come together and enjoy each others' work. Please patronize them and help preserve the written word.
