I'm lactose intolerant but love breakfast sandwiches. I was pleasantly surprised that staff has been willing to accommodate this by substituting avocado spread for cheese, which has turned out really well on items like their Southwest Breakfast Burrito (which they panini press, which is awesome). The coffee and espresso here is some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommend the Cubano expresso shots with a splash of steamed oat milk. The staff here is extremely courteous and friendly. I always feel welcome, whether I'm on my own or with a friend.Truly a can't-miss cafe in Center City!
I got a blueberry cream latte with oat milk and it was SO good. The barista was so nice and welcoming it made me want to come back again. Great vibes!
I love this place, the service was outstanding and my breakfast sandwich and the coffee was so delicious??❤️?✨️✌️??
Old and drippy breast sitting on my lap it's old but I think it still got some flavor you want to taste let me know and my name is Vanessa Bromell
This instantly became one of my favorite cafes in Philly the first time I visited. Super friendly staff, extremely good coffee, and the perfect vibe.
Love this cozy little coffeeshop! The owner and staff are lovely - always warm and welcoming. Has a neighborhood friendly vibe in the city, which I love. The coffee and espresso is high quality - robust and aromatic. Their breakfast burritos (even refrigerated ones) have the best fluffy eggs (and come with fresh salsa!) The made to order paninis are delicious. Croissants and baked goods are consistently super fresh & delicate (yum!). I enjoy coming in for a cup of coffee or lunch on days I commute to the office. Always puts me in a better mood the moment I step in the door. Refreshing and relaxing place to take a break!
Small nice coffee shop. Cordial welcome, nice atmosphere and vibe, great coffee and food. We had the avocado toast and it was delicious.
First time here, and the first things I noticed were how incredibly nice the staff were and how welcoming the atmosphere is. Food is great too! Definitely recommend!
Always fast and friendly! Great coffee, good food. I love stopping in to get something at lunch.
TLDR: customer-shaming, subpar foodWhile sitting down at a table more than 6 feet from others and waiting for the rest of my order, and while drinking coffee, I coughed to clear my throat (into my elbow). Then the barista throws open the doors in December, so it was freezing. Then, a few minutes later, while still waiting, I coughed again. The barista then yells at me to leave for being sick in front of 4 other customers. For context, the only time I was unmasked was while sitting at the table drinking coffee away from other patrons, I’m not sick, I’m double vaxxed and boosted and I have my flu shot. Both times, I coughed to clear my throat. I explained that I wasn’t feeling sick, and he questioned that by telling me he heard me cough.I’m still waiting for my order when the barista explains why he opened the doors to the another employee -because, according to him, I was “coughing without a mask on.” I then asked for my order and they both apologized as it had been on the counter without them realizing I didn’t get the rest of my order.I ordered the apple oatmeal, and it was very clearly instant oatmeal. The apple bits were chewy like they were previously dehydrated and the oatmeal itself was watery .The whole experience was mortifying and the food was subpar so I’m never coming back here.
