Loved it! Great menu, interesting choices and combinations, and very good coffee (duh)! There are a few outdoor tables and plenty of seating upstairs. We really enjoyed the Oldies station and found ourselves singing along between bites and sips. Very popular pleasant place!

We love One Shot for a number of reasons, but I’ve decided that I think the breakfast burrito is the best one I’ve ever had. It’s hearty (and huge) without being heavy, and you can make it more indulgent with meat/cheese but it’s really excellent as is. To finish it off, the pico they provide on the side really completes the experience. Highly recommend.

They have really good food and really good drinks. The cafe itself is gorgeous and always clean. I only gave it a 4/5 because sometimes the food takes 15-20 Minutes to come out, even if I’m the only one whose ordered anything.

Adorable boutique cafe with a delicious gourmet menu and plenty of turn of the century nostalgia! Awesome nook.

Chill place to get coffee. The atmosphere was serene, and the coffee was very good.I saw a few students sitting inside, so I guess it's a cool spot to study as well. We didn't have a grinder but wanted good quality coffee, so I purchased the local beans, and they were very understanding and grinded the beans for me! Still grateful they did it and we had good coffee during our stay in Philly.

Won’t be returning… I came to visit a friend and the entire upstairs received a scolding for sitting upstairs for too long. This made a lot of people uncomfortable. However, the person doing their customer service job with a headset on was fine to continue in the shop.

A little pricey but it's worth it. The one shot sandwich is great with avocado, I've had iced and hot lattes and coffee, all great. Service is friendly and fast.

We contacted One Shot to cater our farewell brunch (the morning after our wedding) at The Deacon - they did a phenomenal job! Melissa was incredibly easy to work with and even provided a gluten free option for a family member with celiac. We kept things simple - mainly egg sandwiches and coffee. But the product was absolutely delicious and still piping hot! The coffee was fantastic (so much so that we had to go buy some of our own!). This was the perfect breakfast option to end our wedding weekend. Thanks, again, for the great experience! 10/10 highly recommended!

While visiting family for a few days in the area, I was eager to find a local spot that had their own thing going on. I love trying out places with full menus and interesting drinks to offer. I actually at first walked right past this place because the snow was in my eyes! It's a local place that doesn't insist upon itself; it's there and it's very very good.Their breakfast menu is great and very accommodating for vegans and vegetarians. They had a million options for regular and gluten free pastries, it seemed, and everything was delicious. I had the breakfast burrito and I believe the carrot cake, and my boyfriend had the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich. I've been disappointed in the past with coffee and brunch places where the coffee was great but the food was portioned tiny - this was NOT the case. I nearly had to force myself to finish, it was that much food! They offered a drink called a "chaggacccino", which had mushroom extract in it I believe. Interested in trying something I've literally never heard of or thought would be a good combination before, I proceeded to order this drink twice a day for several days in a row both hot and iced because it was *that* good. The flavor profile was perfect. My boyfriend ordered a flat white and the pistachio brown sugar latte, both of which were steamed and sweetened to perfection. In a time where the city seems to be expanding and changing its identity, walking in here felt very natural and very authentic. The staff were quick with a recommendation and a friendly demeanor. If I lived closer, I'd be there all the time. I'm already excited for my next visit home so I can stop in!

Great coffee but food can be a hit or miss. Staffing is pleasant except for the rogue moody employee or the whole staff on the weekends .Pastries are always consistent. Watch out what you say on Instagram they’ll block you if you mention something the owner doesn’t like even if it’s not a review they will BLOCK you! Not fair when loyal small business patrons are trying to support ya.
