Always the very best. Every time we go, my kids get a starry far-off look in their eyes and say how much they just love On Point.

We were super disappointed in our experience at On Point Bistro. We were visiting for the first time for a special Father's Day brunch. The weather was unseasonably cool, and as the hostess went to seat us outside, we asked if we could be seated inside where there were 75% open tables. I had my toddler with us and did not want us all to be uncomfortable sitting in the cold. The hostess immediately seemed annoyed and said that we booked an outdoor table and could not switch because there were reservations for tables booked inside. We kindly asked again, given how empty the restaurant was, but she rolled her eyes and immediately walked outside. (Meanwhile, my husband and I went inside to use the restroom on a number of occasions and 50%+ of the inside tables were empty each time. They CLEARLY could have accommodated us indoors, but chose to be difficult for no apparent reason.) My husband had to go get a blanket from our car to wrap around us, and the wind was consistently blowing our napkins and trash off the table, so we were chasing litter down the street. On this same day, management apparently also gave all fathers the day off--a nice gesture for sure-- but our server warned us that it meant the kitchen was understaffed and it would take longer for us to get our food. We sat *over an hour* after our 9:45am reservation before we received our entrees. The food was good, and our server was incredibly pleasant, but the way we were treated initially really soured our experience. One other small point--the hostess gave a completely unnecessary and frankly condescending "speech" to us when we were seated about a 2-hour time limit for our table. Pretty odd, considering they were the ones without enough staff to appropriately move people through in a timely fashion. Oh, and apparently they don't serve alcohol when seated outdoors, so we couldn't even enjoy a Father's Day mimosa, as we had hoped. All in all, a disappointing experience.

Everything was great!

A friend was visiting from out of town and, when looking for a new brunch spot to try, I came across On Point Bistro - it was saved in my "Want to Go" list and is listed as a brunch spot to try on Visit Philly's website. Glad we tried it out because it was great!Since we had a reservation, we were seated immediately. The restaurant has a cute, cafe style vibe and atmosphere. All of the staff were very warm, welcoming and polite. Our server was very attentive and quick in service. It's a BYOB, so we brought a bottle of bubbly with us and ordered one of the mixers - they had a special Lavender & Lemon juice mimosa mixer that day that was actually very good & refreshing. For our meal, we split an order of French Toast, she got the Huevos Rancheros & I had The Clucker. I never had a sweet potato waffle before but I want it all the time now because it was so good! Portion sizes were perfect, the waffle was not too hard or too soft, the chicken was fried well so it was the right level of crunch. The French toast was very good also - larger serving than I was expecting so I was happy about that, soft & tasty.Plan on going back again for brunch to try some of the other dishes out, and recommend checking them out!

Great chicken and waffles, great service, good prices for brunch

Food is great every time, exceptional friendly service staff-!

Really solid neighborhood restaurant. Food could be a little bit more consistent. Some days are definitely better than others. For example last time we ordered the chicken and waffles everything was really dry but it was the only time that has ever happened. Also if you order online they tend to mark it automatically as ready for pick up even if your food is not ready. We always give them 10 ish minutes from their promised time.

Wonderful atmosphere, service and food. Really like that it’s BYOB as we loved the variety of options. Portions were generous but not too big. Place is very clean and welcoming. You need reservations on the weekend.

The food was great and the service was exceptional. It’s a great place to have brunch with friends and family.
