Food 5/10Quite mediocre dim sum, nothing really exciting, the flavors were just missing. Besides the 流沙包,everything else tasted quite bland and boring. The 叉烧包 was way too sweet and not juicy at all. The shrimp dumplings were solid, they got the job done.Atmosphere 6/10Large room with tables while carts are being pushed around.Service 5/10The service was really pushing us to take more food, disturbing us a lot more often than I would have liked.
We don't have anything like this in Richmond VA so I am no expert, but it was a lot of fund and we liked all the food we tried.
Decent traditional dim sum in Chinatown of Philadelphia. They have most of the staple dim sum dishes like rice rolls, turnip cake, shumai, har gow, and dumplings. Quality is pretty decent compared to other places in philly. The procedure of their traditional dimsum is you are seated and then the staff comes around with a few dishes in their cart and you select what you want. Pricing is more expensive than what I am used to. For two people, we had about 7 dimsum dishes and the total was about $66 including tip. The restaurant could use some more staffing but overall food is good.
Wonderful food and amazing service. The food took me out of my comfort zone but it was worth it. This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time.
What a great cart-style dim sum option! This is the traditional sit-and-eat-almost-immediately experience. Dumplings, pastries, spring rolls, buns, and every other classic delicacy is moving through the restaurant on steady schedules so you won't be left waiting long for options to choose from. Can't wait to go back again with friends and family.
Rudest service ever. The waitress yelled at me to strictly have my 1yo kid sit on high chair. My kid was just sitting next to my feet playing on his own. I complained with the cashier when paying the bill. Then the waitress cursed me to her other customers which happened to be heard by me! I totally regret giving the 20% tips just being a nice person and respect the food. They don’t deserve that.
Great dim sum restaurant with a great selection of food that comes out regularly fresh on carts! They can get quite busy but I was lucky to get a table with my friends on a Saturday. The food was better than I expected and reminded me of some of my favorite dim sum places when I was overseas.
5 stars for their Shu Mai, which is what I primarily come for, it has always been amazing, they are larger than other places, consistent with balanced flavors bursting with pork/mushroom/shrimpy goodness.Everything else is pretty good and as expected of any decent dim sum restaurant.
It was incredibly hard to get authentic Chinese food it you are American! As soon as we sat down they brought over a tray of American Chinese food. There where two items we got from that tray, but we were there for the dim sum. I would see them take the American Chinese food tray over to tables where Americans were, and the food trays with authentic Chinese food to the other tables. You pretty much had to stand up and wave to get there attention and sometimes that didn't work. Then once you did get their attention you HAD to know what you wanted and what was there because the communication from them was almost non existent. I tried to ask if they had any dim sum with just pork but the women operating the crate didn't understand me and handed me a bowl of pork cuttings and moved on. The food was ok, it actually upset my stomach for awhile after. When I go to a restaurant, I don't want to feel like I have to work to get the food I want, and enjoy my meal. This was not the kind of dining I was expecting or enjoyed.
Fast and friendly service, great food. Wait staff will let you kniw what things are,. Very decently priced for very good food. More than stuffed when I left.
