What a yummy experience! Giving it a 4/5 because it was a pretty small space BUT the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered: 1) Spicy Wontons 2) House Special Dumplings in Soup 3) Fried Shrimp Balls 4) Shrimp Siu Mai 5) Shrimp Rolls 6) Chicken Cabbage Pan-Fried Dumplings 7) Phoenix Buns (not pictured).Everything was flavorful, service was fast plus the dining room and bathrooms are very clean. It was just an overall really great experience. I would highly recommend coming here for a quick bite, especially to try their Fried Shrimp Balls and the Phoenix Buns for dessert. You won’t be disappointed.See you again Nom Wah!

I don’t know what was my favorite. Everything was beyond. The server was sweet and kind. Definitely a must stop.

I hope I will not get food poisoning from this but this dining experience is not very pleasant for me. I ordered four dishes including shrimp shumai, I have to admit the food tasted good but the shrimp shumai was completely raw inside. I ate two of those and only found out this problem when I started eating the third one. The owner gave me a new one and did not charge me on this shrimp shumai. I don’t know if this is intended but at first the owner did not give me customer receipt and it was provided after I requested it. Anyway, I hope the staff there could be more careful as serving undercooked food, raw in my case, potentially can bring huge consequences to the business.

If you are looking for really good, authentic dim sum in Philadelphia, this is the place to go! We were very happy with the service, the delicious food and the amazing and appropriate prices. I believe this is their second location (other is in NYC). We will certainly be back! There isn’t any parking, but street parking was plentiful. The service was helpful and friendly. Enjoy!

While looking for dim sum places in Philadelphia, I was extremely excited to find out that they have Nom Wah here as well.We ordered a bunch of different dim sum and all of them were great. My family and I really enjoyed it. We also ordered their fried rice. It came late and I was already full. My brother said it was okay. The place is very small and has limited seating. They do not accept reservations, as far as I know. Come as soon as they are open or after the lunch hour rush.Prices are very reasonable. They accept cards as well.

Our second dim sum place in the neighborhood on a recent visit. I was looking forward to trying this place based on the positive reviews. It was a bit disappointing. Ordered about 6-7 items. Most dumplings were so bland it was hard to distinguish among them. Everything fried was super greasy. No sauces provided for the dumplings just more chili oil. Would skip this next time.

Great dim sum! And baby bok choy, spice eggplant and soup dumplings!

The food was excellent! We had the pork buns, pork dumplings, fried rice and noodles. Nice variety of Asian beers, this place is amazing. Everything on the menu is delicious!

Really good selection of dumplings. It’s not a true dim sum experience as there are no carts etc. but the dumplings were quite tasty. Service a little brusque. Just outside of Chinatown but definitely close enough to walk. Several vegetarian options too.

service is excellent, food beyond you expect! A1!
