Pleasing ambiance with crystal chandeliers, cloth covered tables, soft music, interesting art, excellent service, a remarkably extensive menu, and, most importantly, very good food (with plenty left over to take home)!

The web states that they close at 10p, and they will tell you that they close at 9p but really they close at 8:30p. Service stops, everyone starts cleaning up, and the experience takes a sharp turn south. But the food is good if you can get there by 7p. I have been going there since they were located over on Christian St. Their prices have more than doubled so I do not go as often. And the food is almost as good as it was. But overall I would say they have become about the same as most Vietnamese places. I have been looking around at others. Some others have better ambiance. Nam Phuong is a big room with tables. No booths and no real privacy so it's reminiscent of a school lunch hall. A bit loud and all staff attend to everyone. I prefer to have dinner around 8p so another restaurant will have to be found that does not close at 8:30.

I was here many year ago. They were serving very good food even for the foodies. I was there with my newborn and expectes the same experience which I had few year ago. Unfortunately it was not. I do understand they had short staff and was busy. We did not ask for anything crazy. All we askes was a cup of cold water. All of the sudden I am not sure if he was a owner of this place but he seems like someone who is in charge. He came back to our table and gave us a nasty look. And telling us the table is small and having hard time putting food on the table and looking at out baby. And their food experience was very different. I was really surprised which their main dish can become this bad. In my rating it went down 7 to 3 out of ten. I no longer recommend this place no more.

The quality of the food has definitely changed. This was always my go to place for viet food. Possibly a different main chef. Was very disappointed this time, we ordered quite a few dishes and most of the dishes did not taste like it used to. Service has went down also. Sensed some attitude from waitstaff. If you don’t like giving customer service then find another line of work.

1st off I had my vaccine card out but they never asked for it or looked which disturbed me considering it is the current regulation in Philadelphia.2nd we ordered a lot of food, so the price point per person reflects the quantity of food my friend & I ordered (with extra for her to take home in addition to the numerous leftovers from what we did eat).3rd The staff was attentive and immediately brought and accommodated whatever we asked for.4th This was one of only 2 places open during the day & time we went. It was my first time visiting this particular Vietnamese restaurant, and though it was good, it's not my preferred spot to visit in that complex.5. We ordered 2 appetizers that were tasty and I would order them again. My friend's Phó was good (per her statement) but she added extra fat and sauces to customize the broth to her liking (for anyone new to the meal, this is an entirely normal thing to do). My Special (Curry Duck Soup) had a nice spice bite for the broth but very little meat and what was in it was unfortunately dry in texture. However I would order just the broth with ramen noodles any day.I would eat here again if it were the only place open like it had been that night--of course after we try the other place that was open and figure out which is the better of the two. Its not bad, but it did not "wow" me.6. Added bonus is that they do have a bar in the restaurant. So you can have a cocktail if you'd like.

Really good food! Clean atmosphere.I will be back

Authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Philly! A must try while visiting Philly. Who doesn't want an awesome warm bowl pho full of awesome meats! This restaurant is big with plenty of seating. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious and fast! I forget to mention the portions is perfect for hungry people for the money!!!! There are plenty of parking that shares the lot with another legit Viet supermarket!

Crepe - a huge waste of money. We both felt really insulted by this. Essentially boiled ingredients no seasoning inside this hard casing that actually fell apart. Extremely terrible dish.

The restaurant has a nice environment and lots of tables for seating. However, the service wasn't good and the food mediocre. I ordered the pho and had to ask for vegetables and condiments that accompany the soup. I will not go back to that restaurant.

Filling tasty dishes! We ordered bo luc lac, shrimp pork rolls and grilled pork chop. It also came with big bowl of rice. We were offered a big pot of tea upon sitting, very good service! Total about $50 including tip.
