I ordered the chicken and waffles………….. EXCELLENT and will be ordering again
The food was ok . Wasn’t great. Ordered the fish and grits over the phone. I asked if it came with anything else. The woman on line rudely said ,” fish and grits!” . When i looked at the online menu again i called back and asked if it came with eggs. She said.. rudely again..” if you want eggs !” . I don’t even eat eggs but if I’m paying for them i want them. Then i asked to have them scrambled and i got an omelette. Then lady in store tells my daughter ,” he parked on the curb I’ll let it slide this time but tell him not to do it again “. I certainly won’t do it again because I’m never returning. We are in Philadelphia, i park where tf i want to park as long as it’s not on your doorstep. The customer service here is trash, i can’t stand sassy- lipped vendors acting like they’re doing you a favor to let you spend your hard earned money at their establishment. I see why there are so many 1 star reviews. AND my daughter said her sandwich even wasn’t that good. The nerve !
Honestly the best fried shrimp I have had in my life! I don't usually leave reviews but this was amazing, they were very friendly also. Can't wait to order again.
Very rude! I purposely patronized this store because it is black owned. But the business lacks good customer service. The black experience is trash!!!!! I would NEVER buy from them again! I have a great following on social media. I’m going to tell me friends and followers to never go there! It’s sad. Your prices are your prices. Update your menus. They literally itemize everything which is weird. $7 for a sandwich then adding on every quarter, nickel, and dime.
Well they were very nice, took my order, AND then I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited and waited. For just an itlalian sandwich on a kaiser roll. I had to leave to get back to work. They did issue me a refund( even though I would of just liked a sandwich instead) however at that point not only was I late to work...but hungry with no lunch. They have to do better. The response was ...call ahead next time. There will be no next time ..can't afford the time and energy with no food.
Staff was very friendly. My chicken fingers were a bit on the crunchy side and the Belgian fries were soggy but I guess that’s from being in theStyrofoam container. And theCoke slaw tasted like it was right out of a carton, not homemade. $3 for a cream soda is a bit steep. Overall the food was just ok but I will definitely give them another shot because these small ma & pa delis are becoming scarce and we need more of them
I will agree that the food is definitely good. However, the customer service is more than lacking, I would venture to say it’s horrible. If you are someone who is particular about how and where you spend your money, this is definitely not the place for you. The passive aggressive responses from the owner to the reviews definitely tells you everything you need to know.

Overall my experience with this restaurant has been pretty solid. I ordered via Uber eats. My only ask is that you guys add all available options, specifically when it comes to drinks. I called to ask what drinks were available and while the first woman I spoke with was unable to help me, she passed the phone to a pleasant women who helped me. Thanks y’all! I will order again!
No Stars TBH !!!!!! 1 star had to be chosen for me to post.French toast and Waffles are to die for but due to the customer service from the owners I do not understand how they are in business in the day and age! They are rude over the phone they are rude in person and they are rude to responding to people giving them criticism on how they are treating their customers. It is so bad that I do not order via in person or telephone. I rather door dash their food then to actually pick up myself. Says a-lot about you as a business owner! Catering order do not get honored what so ever ! Do not say you offer catering if catering will not be honored. Who needs a month in advance for a simple catering order for just French Toast and Waffles? I would appreciate it very much if you do not respond to my comment because y'all will not talk to me crazy on here nor on the telephone ! All the bad reviews are 100% accurate ! Do yall self a favor keep your money and eat else where !!!!!!!
