The risotto is delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The mussels needed some flavor. The service was great!
Enjoyed my first visit to Moonshine Philly. A great beer selection, and good variety on the menu. The rice bowl I had was very tasty, and my companions really enjoyed the pork dumpling appetizer.
Great outdoor seating, everything was delicious and they were great with our whole family!
service was excellent and the food was delicious. The menu offers favorite sandwiches and engtree but with a local flare! one of my favorite go to spots when in South Philly! Good selection of beers on tap and available cocktails.
The beverages and dishes served there are amazing. The interior of it looks amazing and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The staff are all nice and so far this place seems like a 10/10. I'd see myself coming back here once in a while.
A solid neighborhood bistro with very friendly staff, great food, and very reasonable prices. Lots of outdoor seating, including a few covered tables. Italian influenced menu as expected for the area - a few pasta dishes, sandwiches, salads, meats, cutlets. The shrimp and cavatelli dish was very good. 5 or 6 nightly specials every day. There is something for everyone. A solid and reasonably priced bourbon list (20+ selections) if thatâs your thing. Overall, very good and will definitely visit again. If I lived nearby, I would be here a few times a month.
We came here with friends for a yummy bite while out. We sat outside and they had ample seating available even though we arrived late. We were seated quickly. We started off with drinks and waters, and the drinks were very good. The Witt Belgian was a great beer, and a dinner mate had the honey mule and said it was good. We started with mozzarella sticks (4/5) and brussel sprouts (4/5) and felt content at this point. I had the gnocchi with blackened chicken which was pretty good (4/5) and my dinner mate had the crab cake sliders and said they were very good (5/5). I would probably come back. However, the ambiance is pretty bad and uninspiring, so I probably wouldn't bring family here.
Exploring our possible new neighborhood, we stopped here for a quick bite & brunch. We choose outside seating because such a pleasant day.Brunch has 5.00 Bloody Mary's. I was sold. Had the chicken Sammie (not sliders, btw) excellent. But for $5.00 a healthy bloody Mary with just the right spice to vodka ratio. Also an Orange Moonsicle with orange infused moonshine. The star of this was the staff. Very kind, attentive & extremely helpful.Definitely going back at night to try their French Onion soup & grilled cheese.
Recently stopped in on an exceedingly windy afternoon, sitting outside, enjoying the gusts. The food was delicious and fast, as well as filling. The staff are helpful and extremely good looking, which is always a five-star in my book. Will be back to fill their jukebox with dad rock and 90s rap.
Moonshine is an amazing local eatery. The food is always great, and the atmosphere is nice as well. Staff is all attentive and kind. I've never had a bad meal here, they keep me coming back. Thank you!
