Monster Vegan has a great look. The neon and classic horror film make it something you’ll want to see. I went for appetizers and drinks. The food was good, I’d like to try a full meal. However, the drink menu was great. But, getting a drink was a task. The bartenders were slow. Why are both bartenders on the same side? Also, it was loud in there. But my biggest complaint… bathrooms. They were a mess.
Interesting, albeit limited, brunch menu. Extremely unhealthy options. Fried oyster mushrooms and truffle fries were very good. Philly cheesesteak hoagie wasn’t a good choice - surprisingly flavorless cheese and meat. General Tso’s hoagie was a better choice. Unfortunately, I only got a bite of my boyfriend’s. Service was friendly but a bit slow and inattentive. Fortunately, we were seated next to the waiter’s stand, so I could reach over and refill our water glasses.
Great service and food is good
GREAT MENU AND FUN DRINKS!
I had crab cakes and hash
What an awesome & fun place!! Our group of 4 came for happy hour & dinner. We came for the fun theme as big Halloween/Horror junkies but were so impressed by the quality of the food & drinks. The staff was super friendly, nice & helpful. Will absolutely be back!!
I believe our server’s name was Sean and they gave us a great experience! The entire restaurant had an amazing vibe to it and it was much bigger than it looks from the outside. We ordered the whipped ricotta, clam and linguine, and a chicken caeser salad and it was the perfect lunch. Our cocktails were on the sweeter side (due to the ingredients in our drinks) but insanely delicious. We would be more than happy to visit again next time we are in Philly !
Food and drinks were delicious! The jerk chicken sandwich was incredible (never had that before). The clam & linguine dish was also really good and flavorful. I would add a protein, though. Especially knowing how good their chicken is ? couldn't believe the texture.I loved the atmosphere and the staff were friendly, kind, and helpful :) so glad we found this place!
Fun place. Great service. The food was different than I expected but I found it delicious. We had the General Tao's Sandwich and Phillie Cheesesteak. If you are very picky and don't like vegetables or only like very plain food, then you might not find anything you like. Our server (Sean) was excellent, very patient, knowledgeable of the menu, checked in often and eager to refill our glasses. A 20% gratuity is built into the check. The restaurant has 3 bathrooms that aren't gender specific, which were clean. They have a bar in addition to regular dining and have a variety of drinks. There are some steps to get into the restaurant so I'm not sure how accessible it would be for some, but they might have another entrance I didn't see. The lighting is dim and they have some spooky themed decor, which made it stand out from other places. It wasn't very busy on a Friday night but you could get a reservation if you wanted. I definitely would go back.
Amazing vegan restaurant. Great atmosphere, music, ambiance and food. The service was cordial and inviting. The salads, pastas and first courses were excellent.Highly recommended.
