Wow. Simple spot. Great food.Small place but a perfect design.Rueben pictured was awesome. The sal, also pictured, didn’t disappoint.Kids Sammy’s were so perfect for our kiddos. Just order one chocolate milk. They are awesome and huge.Gonna head back next time we’re in the city.
Delicious. My kid is a picky eater (?) and even his completely plain turkey sandwich (a) looked good and (b) tasted great.Go for a sandwich stay for the pickels (which apparently they make in the basement). *Chef's kiss*
SALAD SANDWICH! Marinated beets; pickled veggies and apple; sweet, sweet lettuce; herby Boursin cheese (omg); and lemon poppy vinaigrette slathered all over. I’ve stopped ordering everything else.
I thought the idea of placing your order in before you sat down was clever as long as there are seats available. My wife and I was there for brunch. My wife had a wonderful egg sandwich, I made the mistake of trying something different and that was the biscuit and gravy. The first time it was served it came out cold, not warm or lukewarm but cold. I send it back, this time it came out and the gravy was hot. However the biscuits could be used for a hockey puck. I tried to muscle through it but I just couldn’t. I took it home and dumped it in the trash. I’ve heard that this place is really know for there lunch time sandwiches I think I will try it one more time and I was try the sandwiches.
We had two breakfast sandwiches. If you need cash (their card system was down) go to Walgreens on corner.
Decent cold brew and good variety of hoagies. Not many tables available so ideal for takeaway. Friendly and quick service.
Came here for breakfast, ended up getting breakfast and lunch… you can order from the lunch menu even at 9a. The hash browns are decadent, so make sure you add one to your meal. We got the pho sandwich and a breakfast sandwich and both were excellent. They were large portions and very filling. The pho sandwich tastes just like the soup. The staff is friendly and patient. There is limited seating inside and 2 tables outside. I’d highly recommend checking this place out.
I ordered a Phogie(Vietnese inspired hoagie) which was incredibly good, although it was too salty for me, I loved their creativity and will definitely try other sandwiches next time.FYI, wait time on weekend was a lot crazy tho.
I come to Philly a couple of times a year and each time I grab middle child for breakfast. It is easily the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had!
We had sandwiches for lunch, they were different unusual and enjoyable. Service was very good it’s a fun place and we would go back
