SO GOOD! We actually went twice. Birra tacos are fantastic. (American were slightly better than Mexican). Nachos were so full top toppings and layered well. Excellent - and reasonably priced with super friendly service.
We were looking for a place to eat and walked past this place. There was no one inside so we were a bit worried (though it was only around 6pm). Well, we're glad we decided to go in because the food was great and the staff are super friendly. More people came in once we started eating so I think we were just early. They make some of their own soft drinks, we had the lemonade one which was a big serving and very nice. Prices are good for the portion size and for the high quality of the food. The windows also allow a good view of the South Street nightlife. Will definitely come back here next time I'm in Philly.
I personally know the owner. Me, my husband and all of my friends go there constantly. The food is always fresh. It comes straight from Mexico. AAMAAAZZING. BYOB. They do have regular non alcoholic drinks. Everyone should go there. And I would never just say it just to say it. You will never be disappointed.
I come here at least four times a week! They are such a good variety of foods and everything tastes so good. Juan the owner just makes everything with love and he really cares about his customers and you can tell! I highly suggest. Tacos they're amazing
Visiting Philly from Iowa. They accommodated our group of six with wonderful customer service. The staff is personable and professional. The food was amazing. I got Alfredo and the rest of our party got Mexican cuisine and everyone loved their food. You cannot go wrong here. Make sure you get a churro while you are here!!
I didn't eat here because they didn't sale the food I was looking for.. which was cow tongue. But its ok maybe next time. I would like to say though the boss was very, very nice ? . I wish you the best in your new restaurant and hope all your dreams you want for this business comes true for you sr.??
Had this place today. Let me say AMAZING!. I got veggie nachos and it was the best nachos I ever had. Everything was layered. Definitely coming back. Muy bueno!
best el pastor i’ve ever had. haven’t tried the italian cuisine yet, but if it’s as good as the mexican, i might have to frequent this place a lot more.
I love this spot!I've tried Carnitas all over the city and this place has probably my favorite!The Nachos are great, I like that fact that they actually bake them!The wait times are minimal, it's fast but not like the food has just been sitting there waiting for purchase.Also, the staff are great - whenever I stop by I'm always greeted with a warm hello. Definitely recommend checking this spot out!
All the food was very flavorful and the staff were very friendly. A friend and I got chicken cheesesteak tacos and cheese fries for appetizers and we both had the tortellini. We also took some delicious churros to go ?. It probably seems overpriced because of the casual nature of the place, but the food is worth it.
