The food and the service are both very, very good. It is extremely loud inside though. Like you have to literally scream to hear each other from 2-3ft away. They need to do something to control this noise issue.

Waiter was nice. Special salad was too saturated with dressing and the special fish main course was dry, although the sauce was nice.
Everything was awesome as usually except we like the way the artichoke used to be prepared. I don't like the breadcrumbs on the top. Too hard to eat
Overall a decent experience, but entrees were lacking when it came to the details: crab pasta was under-flavored and sauce was too runny, while veal piccata was slightly overdone.
This is a wonderful long time BYOB that serves very authentic rustic Italian fare. We've been customers for all of their 17 years and will continue to visit when we're in center city! One of our regular go-to's!
