We usually love McNally's- fantastic service, good beer at a reasonable price and tasty food. We went most recently for their lobster roll special that I saw advertised on Instagram (price was not advertised- I should have known then). The service was phenomenal (as always) and the food delicious although I did notice a tomato taking up about a third of my lobster roll, which should have really been lobster meat instead. I wasn't too bothered by it until I got the bill and I have to say I was blown away by the price. $35 dollars for a lobster roll, a side of potato chips, potato salad and a small coleslaw when a tomato took about a third of the roll is just too steep. I don't usually balk at a check but this one got me to double take. It was my fault for not asking how much the rolls were from the start but there's no way I thought they would be over $30. Disappointed.
What a place. Extra seating due to the recent expansion. Staff is friendly, Schmitter is outstanding. All the food is fresh and delicious. Save room for a slice of cake. You'll be glad you did!
The service here was great. The food was okay. We paid $20 for a cheesesteak that was "subpart." It's just hard for me to justify paying $20 for an average-taste sandwich like what I had. I also wish they had French fries but that's okay. I can understand why. They don't have a fryer on site.Ultimately, the environment and the service was excellent but the food was average at best.
Friendly owners great food fabulous delicious cake Great waitress and bartender we highly recommend Mc Nalleys. chestnut Hill Pa.
If you have never had a shot of Bailey's Irish cream poured onto a piece of Guinness cake, you have never had a five star dessert.Believe it or not, McNally's has a five-star dessert.I love this place, I take my children there, it's so family-oriented. Craig at the bar is awesome, Ann is a walking encyclopedia, and Liz is one of the best...
I've loved McNally's all my adult life, and with the recent expansion it's a little easier to get a table during prime time. But my favorite sandwich, the Schmitter, has got to be 20-25% smaller than it was pre-pandemic! It's still a great sandwich, don't get me wrong, but geez, my whole family was surprised by the shrunken Schmitter. I'll still go and enjoy the place, but I'll have to order the long roll Schmitter from now on. It's still a fun night out!
McNally’s is our family’s favorite and now with the recent opening of the adjoining dining room there’s even more to love! Quality of food is still exceptional, service is warm and personal and now there’s larger tables for family and friends to gather at and enjoy. So inviting with the beautiful architecture, lovely window and always cloth tablecloths. If you’re in the area - or even if you’re not - don’t miss McNally’s. From soups to cakes to rotating specials to the regular menu there are no bad choices to be made here along with a full bar too!
Our waitress Liz was outstanding! I'll definitely return. The Schmitter is a must!
Just a regular old tavern with good food and brews
I’d give zero if I could. Ordered food for delivery half the order was missing. When I called to tell them they asked me if I wanted to come in and pick up what was missing. No, that’s why I got delivery. The thinnest corn chowder I’ve ever had in my life such a lazy customer service. I would not go here. So disappointed. The quality of this place has really gone down over the years. They seemed not to care at all or even really try to rectify the problem when I called them. Now I’ve over paid for a bunch of food I don’t have. Don’t go here.
