Great atmosphere with eclectic music!Attentive staff despite how busy it was.Good pub grub. Multiple stouts on draft.
Went here with my Girlfriend to get drinks before we were gonna go out for dinner. We liked the vibe so much we skipped dinner plans and just drank beers and ate French fries until 10pm lol. Great environment and awesome history. The walls are littered with pictures of years gone by it was very cool I would recommend anyone to stop by and enjoy the history of the oldest bar in Philly. The servers were very attentive and nice. Overall 26/30.
The place is very cool, the beer is good, the food is delicious, but none of this counts when the staff is rude.The waitress didn't even wait until we finish eating and took our dishes and beer. We were still eating and drinking. When we complained, she just gave back our glasses (which were already piled up in her tray) and turned away.It is nice to visit because it's an historical place. But don't expect good service.
Went here for drinks after drinks, after drinks. The staff was all around very friendly, from the bouncer that held a bottle I had on me behind the bar until we left, to the waitress who was very attentive even though it was busy to the security guard that answered a question for me without even having to open my mouth.The drinks were good and strong and the club sandwich was delicious. I would highly recommend this place
Awesome vintage bar, you can actually feel the history. Friendly staff, killer food and a large selection of local craft beers..
I was recommended to stop here from a friend during a pub crawl across Philly. Great food, great drinks, great service. This will be a stopping point each time I make it back to Philly.

I've only been twice and only for drinks but enjoyed both time. Cool atmosphere but always seems to be packed. If crowded is your speed, then you'll love it! Just isn't my preference. But still good drinks and fun place.
