This place has a Cheers vibe. I have been coming to McCrossen's for 20 years. Steve, Dave, and of course, Jamie, are more like family after all of these years. This place is a gem and makes living here so amazing. The food, the ambiance and the amazing people who work there make this place so spectacular.

This is a super cool place and the food is great. I already knew that. My reason for posting a Google review is my daughter and I had the warmest, kindest, friendliest server today that made the experience even better. Want to publicly thank Joann for being so genuine and for giving her all to make her guests feel special. You were noticed and appreciated.

Charming, well maintained Tavern with good service and great food. Tuna and shrimp taco apps were delicious, as was the spring salad with salmon and the burger. The only item we’re sampled which was subpar was the chicken sliders, which were overcooked. Would definitely go back.

Service was slow. Dishes for four people came out at different times. My grilled chicken was rough and difficult to cut. I was here once before and had a different chicken dish, which was overcooked. Were it not for the fact that it has a nice outdoor area and is a favorite of my relatives, I would not return.

Absolutely dismal service. We waited for at least 30 minutes and basically were invisible. Staff seemed like they just did not want us there and ignored multiple attempts to get a table or order anything. We even saw them address the multiple groups that came in after us.

Highly recommend....was pleasantly surprised with this just outside of the city neighborhood concept, buried amongst the brownstones. I was more impressed with the friendliness of the staff. The main bartender approached everyone to make sure they were served timely. Servers were very attentive and FAST! Felt almost like a throwback to Cheers. Oh yeah..and the food was solid if not a true great price! Worth the stop!

Good food at reasonable prices, and their kitchen is open after 10. Good variety of craft beer too, about 8 taps ranging from lagers to ales. And welcoming vibes from the owner, bartenders, and clientele. I went for a March Madness game, and everyone was introducing themselves. A couple people said they were from the neighborhood and loved Mccrossen's.

The service was exemplary. Our server was very accommodating and attentive. The food was amazing amd I'm so glad we chose to dine here. We can't wait to visit Philly again and enjoy a meal once again at this lovely place.

Pastas delicious French Onion Soup delicious!

A local hot spot. The food is good I personally love their cheeseburger, fries, and french onion soup. The local crowd makes the atmosphere very relaxed and inviting. Lastly the drinks can never disappoint. Lunch, Dinner or Drinks if you in the area this is a great spot. Please like if you find this helpful!
