*Indoor Dining Review*I really wanted to like this place, but not what I expected. Since this was opened not long ago and close to my house, I decided to give it a try.Restaurant: 3/5Food: 2/5Service: 1/5Parking: Combo of Street meter parking and limited free parking lot in the back.Restaurant itself looks pretty nice, the decors are modern. Tables and chairs are clean. Couldn't say the same about restroom.Food is at best average, we ordered couple things to try.-Assorted Skewers (Dry and overcooked, flavor is good at least)-Beef Brisket Ramen (Broth taste good, but barely room temperature. Protein is plentiful but it is like chewing on leather)-Beijing Bang (Nothing special, a fancy way to make Lo Mein. Ramen was slightly undercooked)Service... oh boy. From the moment we walked in, we probably should have turn around and walk out, the restaurant was empty. But I decided to give them a benefit of the doubt. We're greeted with less than unwelcome enthusiasm from the lady working the desk/tables, as if we just ruined her day.We sat down on our table, presented with a menu, was almost rushed into ordering our food. After we ordered and while still eating talking. We weren't even ask if we needed a box or take our leftover, the lady just dropped off our check, without a word. As if we're being told, ok hurry up, eat and get out. Keep in mind, we were not showing any hostility or negativity towards the food or the restaurant. I can understand it if they are super busy, but there was only one other family that came in after us. Needless to say, we decided not to even finish our food or pack them to go, paid for our meal and left.To sum it up... Noodle is there, just no Magic (at all). At the end of the experience, I almost wanted to apologize to my girlfriend for wanting to try this place when we're both hungry.Would we go back? No, absolutely not. We would rather forget about this whole entire experience.TIP: If you want a fun Ramen experience. Go across the street to (Rayaki Ramen). Much better service and food.
This was my first time here, I was in the place for ramen and when I typed it into my google maps this was the 3rd option that came up but I will not go anywhere else! This place was amazing. The ramen hit deep in my soul!!!! I ordered the squid skewer, the crab and pork soup dumplings, the beef scallion pancake, the pork burger, these random potatoe balls and the spicy magic beef ramen. I would rate every item a 10/10 across the board!
Visited the place for the first time. The place is clean and staff is attentive. Kpop music playing in the background. The prices are very reasonable. Ordered steamed dumplings with chives (very flavorful and juicy), magic beef soup, and magic lamb soup, and some skewers with beef and lamb. I'm not new to these kind of places. We liked it a lot. Will definitely come back. The soup bowls are quite generous, so we took unfinished soup home and it was good after reheating. Thanks!
Just love the food. So tasty .
BYOB ? Parking lot available, Menu clear and has photos for references, waitress’ are friendly and food quality and flavor is flavorful; delish??
So delicious noodles I love the spicy and hot ?
The soup dumplings are nice enough, but I like the fried pork dumplings more. It has a bit sweetness in the dough which is a pleasant. The price is very good for the food. Grill food are pretty good too.
Came here for the Shanghai Soup Dumplings (they're the only one that I'm aware of that makes them in the NE). They didn't have them so we settled for the Shanghai Crabmeat and Pork Soup Dumplings instead. Good amount of meat and broth in the dumplings. I have had their Pork House Bao before but it was lacking the punch of flavor that it usually has. I will definitely order it again though. Food portions were a good size. I felt the food was a little on the bland side today (which I personally prefer over too salty because I can always add to it) but even for bland, it was still good. They have condiments like soy sauce, dumpling sauce, vinegar and chili oil right at the table. Most of the food are also being served in take-out/disposable containers (I'm guessing because of COVID/sanitary reasons). Server was efficient. Good spacing inside/nice atmosphere/decor. Street parking available on both Brous or Cottman Ave.
Amazing food!! The spicy magic beef bowl was amazing. As well as the soup dumplings. Highly recommend checking this place out!
