Fun place with friendly staff, good eats and reasonably priced
Great bar. Loved the pics of the IASIP cast on the walls and the references to the show. Good drinks. Waitress was really nice
Where do I start, Mac? Just about everything me and my party had was super low quality. Chicken "cheesesteak" tasted like it had canned chicken, which is embarrassing. Hot Chicken Sandwich was way overcooked, dry, and overly breaded. The Mac and Cheese was bland and uneventful. Even the tots were seasoned unpleasantly and dry. Not only was the food dreadful, but the wait times for the food was far longer than we were advised it would be.It was sad to see the lack of creativity on the menu as well, like, no Sunny in Philadelphia References or anything quirky. Beer selection also was "meh" in my opinion. Overall, I wouldn't return here or advise anyone else to. Besides the atmosphere, which I'd deem "chill", it's an embarrassment for using poor quality ingredients and certainly won't be returning.
Get the tot poutine and the cheesesteak pierogis. It’s a great bar
The wife and I are both huge Always Sunny fans and decided to stop in. We were welcomed like family and got some great recommendations on Philly steak & cheese spots in the area. We had a couple drinks and loved hanging out with the bartender for a bit. Highly recommend checking the place out!
I had a great experience here with my family! They were very pet friendly and accommodating. The service was exceptional and the selection had many craft brews to sample. The food good, not too ambitious but tasty bar classics. The Always Sunny tributes are also a very fun touch.Star lost as the jukebox wasn't hooked up to the sound system and I wasted a few bucks trying to get it working.
Dear Mac,I feel like I can call you Mac because you and me are so much alike. I would love to meet you someday, it would be great to have a beer. I know I don’t own a bar like you, but I think you would be impressed with my insight. I love your badassnes. You make me laugh. Do you have a good relationship with your waitresses? Me neither. These are all the things we can talk about and more. I know you have not been getting my reviews because you would write back if you did, and I hope you write back this time and we get to be good friends. I’m sure our relationship would be a real home run.- EP.S. The waitress at Mac’s Tavern took a minimum of 20 minutes to take our order, brought me the wrong beer, corrected it when I flagged her down. She then told me the beers were $4 but shorted me $5 after waiting 15 minutes for her to bring me my change. I didn't bother to alert her because I just wanted to leave.
Cool place. Slow service because only one bartender was working and they were pretty busy, but they had good food and drinks
Food, staff, atmosphere and drink selection are all spot on, possibly the friendliest bartender we have ever met. Gave us some great advice on where to go during our trip and nothing was too much for her. Food was a good price and really tasty as well. 100% would come here again
We had to stop in to see Macs as we are big fans of the show. Comfortable atmosphere, dimmed lighting, great service. We met Lisa who gave us both a great history and wonderful introduction to the bar. Sports games on multiple TVs and of course, channel change by request. A must- see spot for any fan of Sunny or some great company and a few drinks.
