Holy frick! The Kid recommended that we go and check out some legendary and mysterious PB&J bacon cheeseburger.So we did.Recent Saturday afternoon found myself, The Kid, and The Missus (bless 'er) seated at Lucky's waiting for the aforementioned dish.I was in no way disappointed. In fact, I loved the burger- sorry, DOUBLE PB&J bacon cheeseburger so much that PB is now one of my go-to burger condiments. Much to the obvious disgust of The Missus (bless 'er).Go. Go now.

AMAZING. We sampled only a small portion of the menu, but we will most definitely be back to try more. The PB & Bacon burger is indescribable. Don’t be afraid to put the jelly on it…it takes it to another level. We also got an order of the onion strings that came with this amazing, house-made, special sauce…Definitely give this place a try. Exceptionally excellent and inventive burgers that can't be found anywhere else. They came up with some unique flavour combinations that were fantastic. They also received tater tots and fries. On the tots, we had garlic and butter, and on the fries, we used old bay cheese. They also have a comprehensive variety of specialty beers if you're a beer drinker. Oh, and the interior is decked out with vintage band posters. I'd return in a heartbeat.
We love lucky's. The burgers are probably the best I've had anywhere. I've had just about every burger on the menu. You can't go wrong with any of them, but personal favorites are the PBJ burger, the BBQ one with onion strings, and the pickle monster. Also the tots are addictingly good. Pro tip: order two tots and save the extra to throw into some scrambled eggs next morning.
The service and food here are top notch! Kelly, our waitress was very attentive and super quick with anything we needed. Especially drink refills. The PB & Bacon burger showed why it is a 3x Philly Burger Brawl winner. Only bummer was the lack of cheese on the Junkyard fries but not a big enough issue to ruin the experience. 10 out of 10. Will be back again.
