The staff was very nice, but this place is struggling. They seem very short staffed. They got one of our orders wrong, then didn't bring out a replacement until after everyone else in our group had finished eating.
Went with friends for brunch and when we ordered our dishes, we were asked how we wanted our eggs. When the orders came out, 3 of us had just received scrambled eggs (not what weâd ordered). When we asked if we could have our correct order, the server said that wouldnât be possible since the dish was always going to be scrambled (we were then confused as to why heâd asked us how weâd wanted our eggs). He offered to get one of my friends a side of over medium eggs once they asked, but when the eggs came out they were extremely undercooked (as were all of our eggs). A weird experience.
Stopped in for a drink after dinner. Friendly waitress! We opted to sit outside and enjoy the unbelievably beautiful evening. Every restaurant with outdoor seating was slammed, so we were happy to find seats here. Felt like a friendly, welcoming local place that you'd want to visit if you lived around the block.
Service was very sweet. Wasn’t too busy and food came out quickly. It just wasn’t anything amazing. I’ve heard lots of great things said about Lou Bird’s and wanted to try it for myself. Friends got the fried chicken sandwich and chicken fingers. I got the jambon sandwich, which didn’t have much going for it other than the roll. Not mad about the meal, but won’t make an effort to return.
So tasty. Went for brunch, can't wait to try it again. Great location, great service, great food!The home fries are soooo good.
Made the reservation, looking forward to brunch, walked over to restaurant a few days later and the place was CLOSED! Went elsewhere!
