A little gem in Northeast Philadelphia! We always come here for the delicious homemade Turkish food. Their soups are the best in town! (the cakes are great too:))The only thing which is not great is a constant issue with headlights of the cars parked right at front of the restaurant. People don't bother to turn them off! I guess we have to come when its not too dark outside.

The best food I can eat everyday love it

Little Istanbul always knows how to do middle eastern food right. The hummus was great and served with pita bread. The mixed kabob platter was delicious and there were chicken, beef, and lamb options. I finished off the meal with Turkish tea. The only drawback was the gyro over rice which had sliced meat which was a bit tough to chew. Service was perfect though!

I was blown away on how good this food was. I was also shock how much foot traffic they still have at 1:45 to 2pm on a Saturday as I am finishing my food. Seems like a lot of the local comes here.

Amazing taste! My husband and I are truckers so we’ve had Turkish food in almost every state and this restaurant by far is #1.

I found out about this place from my Turkish employee after he brought me some Turkish food, living 20 years in NE Philly I wish I discovered this place much earlier, excellent service and amazing foods, if you want an authentic middle easter food this is the place for it, I'm part Armenian and some of the foods on a menu reminds me of the food over there from my childhood, yes I am Armenian and I love coming here and I don't care about no politics I love Turkish cuisine it's the best.

Wanted something different today and decided to try the lamb gyro. First impressions is that the gyro has some nice weight. Lamb was flavorful. Seasoned heavily. Rolled with dices of tomato and slices of cucumber. Some yogurt sauce but also another sauce of their own. Its not a Greek gyro if thats what you're looking for but rather ery much its own. Fries were crispy but wish they were hotter because we waited for our order and ate in the parking lot but the fries were luke warm. Completed the meal with some peaxh juice which was decent. Total damage: $16. Worth a try if you're in the neighborhood and are looking for something unique.

Everything about this resturant is amazing. From food, presentation to service! This place is a must go wether it's 2 people or taking your whole family! It could get busy after 7!

A hidden gem, so glad to have found and tried Little Istanbul. Everything we tried was delicious. Yogurtlu Adana Kebab was outstanding. Adana kebab was also pretty good. We also loved the lentil soup and Lamachun. Plenty of dessert choices and never seen so many varieties of Baklava before. I highly recommended this place if you love Turkish or Middle eastern flavors.IG: journey_man16
