The food is good but they are never open and cancel orders. I’m done ordering from them

I have been eating from, ordering from, and picking up from Le Nile for years, and I continue to enjoy the delicious foods they consistently cook. Tonight, I ordered through Grubhub, and again, I totally enjoyed a well prepared, tasty meal.I had perfectly cooked Jollof rice with fish (Tchep Djain Poisson) that Thanks to Alexx Ekubo, a Nollywood Actor, who made Jollof look so good, in a movie I watched years ago, that I had to try Jollof for myself, and I have been hooked ever since. I am ever so glad Le Nile brings this tasty dish to life; Senegal should pay Le Nile as an ambassador; because Jollof in Senegal is now on my bucket list because of Le Nile.I also what I can only imagine heaven must smell like, delicious Okra Sauce. And the flavour .... Aaahhhh, I am dreamingly savoring the memory of its flavor as I type this. It was prepared with loads of well-seasoned meats, and just had my tastebuds alive with delicious enjoyment of the okra sauce that I also paired with Jollof rice, as well as with the white rice. Both combined, and each tasted as satisfyingly wonderful. The Brochette de Poulet Kabob tasted freshly grilled, with a lovely aroma.Even the Homemade Bissop Juice - hibiscus drink was delicious. In all, I highly recommend Le Nile African Restaurant for their consistently amazingly delicious cooking skills.Keep in mind that greatness takes time; so if you ever order food for pickup, You must exercise patience - the delicious food will be worth the wait. I find that the food is always soooo tasty, that I keep the anticipation of the delightful tastes to come, in mind, to temper my patience as I wait for its preparation. Again, Totally worth it!

For me it’s the Best African restaurant in Philadelphia !

Good EXOTIC African food ?

Good Cabbage

Always great food and customer service ?

Nice small restaurant. The food is great. The lady working the register is gorgeous ???. The restaurant wasn't too busy at this moment when I was there, which gave it an intimate feel.

I have travelled in Senegal and liked the food so much. In my opinion, The Nile is by far the best representative of Senegalese cuisine in Philadelphia. I stopped going to Kilimandjaro once i tasted their Yassa and Fish and Rice. They are by far better that Kilimandjaro. Customer service is not that great and needs improvement.

I’ve always enjoyed their grilled fish with the added salad and onions over the years. However, I am surprised today when I called at 8.41pm having just landed at the airport in Philadelphia and a lady told me they can’t take my order because it takes 1 hour to get it ready. They close at 10pm and whenever I called, it takes about 45minutes to get it ready no matter what.I am so disappointed as I don’t understand the math of 45 minutes to get the fish ready and there is still 1 hour and 20 minutes before 10pm.

Grilled fish the best.
