I love this place so much the food is amazing I won’t go anywhere else but here because I know I will never be disappointed
The food is always good at this place,,considering I drive 35 minutes jus to get this food,,n the portions are perfect!However each time I visit,,I am never properly greeted upon entering or exiting the restaurant..There’s no line or way to know who’s been helped or jus waiting for food..Customer service definitely has to improve in order to keep this beautiful black business in satisfying standards for customers..I will still continue to support this business in hopes for a change!
Usually this place has the best potato greens but for the last two times I’ve been it’s been absolutely no flavor …please go back to the old recipe the one with flavor (seasoning & spice) not this bland recipe.
Really disappointed... I usually love their food but today the service an food was below basic..I first called around 9pm multiple times an got no answer so I decided to just pull up when I got there it was about 930 pm an it was open there was a young girl behind the register an there was a guy waiting for his food. I ordered cassava leaf and tilapia an rice platter..while I waited the phone rang frequently but she never picked it up when my food got done I asked her how come they aren't answering the phone she said because they are about to close I looked online it says 11pm but okay . I never looked at my food until 30mins ago an saw I had no rice an the fish tasted unusual really disappointed
We had four dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!
First & only place I've had potato greens from (3 times) & they are amazing. Even the goat & rice is good!
Food was absolutely HORRIBLE peanut butter soup DISGUSTING!! Waste of money but that’s my fault for giving them the benefit of the doubt for a second time ! I can HONESTLY say I’ve NEVER had a good dish from this place . Completely horrible horrible food .my rice was WET peanut butter soup was more like jus palm oil an rarely no meat jus fat . Never again I recommend African small pot right down the street never did me any wrong . & the girl behind the counter is slow with getting people orders & have a nasty attitude . After trying to eat the food I wasted my money on I literally gagged an almost threw up .
Customer svc is terrible which made the whole experience not so great... The young lady at the counter was very unprofessional and rude bc she had to stop "entertaining" a man and tend to me "a customer", after I stood there for ba while without being acknowledged after walking in... I didn't even have an appetite by the time I got the food and left. I gave the food away, the energy around it was just terrible... I was told the food was ok tho
I’ve ordered grilled fish 3 times and they always send fried fish and do not reimburse for the difference. I ordered something different today to pick up and they said 20 mins, I showed up 40 mins later only to be told they don’t have anything ready and somebody else had my food. Please order from Mama Shans or Ecowas.
Great food it really good I highly recommend the food. I go there again and again.
