It was a fun experience. Had a nice sized group of friends which made it even better. The food was fresh and we enjoyed it. Try the sauces bar. It adds more pizzazz to the meal.
Best hot pot.So many choices of broth, vegetables and meat. They also have agreat BBQ option. You can have either or both and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place
Normal hot pot setting, menu is a bit confusing and staff is not much help. However once you figure it out by yourself and order they bring the food out and you cook everything yourself. The only problem that I have with this restaurant is the prices are a bit outrageous for the bland soup they provide, also after leaving a decent tip on the table one of the workers followed my party outside to ask for more money. The bill was 100 dollars for 3 people the 20 dollar tip was enough for what the wait staff has to do. I was not asked for a refill the entire time I was there and really you have to hold your hand up like a toddler for any staff to come back around to your table. Overall I would say to skip this place you can find way better options in the square. Enjoy!
Had an awesome time at LaTao. It is AYCE hotpot and you can choose to share or have your personal hot pot. Great variety of different stocks to choose from, from spicy to mild. Quality was definitely there - very delicious, rich and savory broths with tons of choices for ingredients. Portions may be a tad smaller but it helps avoid food waste and you can keep ordering more. Service was excellent and they were very very attentive and patient especially since we had a few first timers in our group. Great place to hang out and just enjoy some good food as a group or family. Note that on weekends you do pay the dinner price but since it is AYCE with the full dinner menu and the ingredients are of great quality it is definitely worth it. ???
Great all you can eat experience. $33.34 per person for dinner. Great with Sean and the boyz. Missing chicken heart.
This place is amazing and my go to place for hotpot. I would rate it higher than most places in Philly Chinatown. Not just hotpot, their other stuff like the ones on the menu are very good too. I tried their spicy pork intestine, beef tendon, cucumber salad and needless to say I ordered them many more times! Not just food, when it comes to food portions, cleanliness, courtesy and service they don't fail to exceed expectation either. Overall I'd give them a solid 100/100!
First time ever trying hot pot. Loved the food and the service. The only reason I am not giving this place 5 stars is we were charged the dinner rate even though we were there at lunch. I did not realize this until after we left. Just be careful when receiving the bill.
Hot pot + all you can eat = one of the best combo???
Friendly staff and the noodle soup was excellent. We got there too late to dine in but the take out was great. Can't wait to go back.
All you can eat hotpot place. Got a lot of unique Chinese food choices.
