Maybe they were having a bad night, but this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The food was good, but the service was terrible. We probably wonât return.

La Famiglia continues to be a classically beautiful restaurant and has endured the test of time in Philadelphia. They are the bright spot in what has become a very dreary corner in Old City that used to be filled with thriving restaurants. It is a testament to La Famiglia's enduring quality and service that their restaurant is the only one on the block. The waiters are the stars of the show. They are extremely friendly, good-natured and really do care that you have an excellent experience. The food was great, especially the Nostalgia menu that they share in the summers where all the prices are the same as when they opened in 1976. Especially with the extreme inflation the world is experiencing post-Covid, that is very nice indeed!
This is one of our favorite spots - in the entire world! It did not disappoint for a milestone birthday celebration. The candle and song over dessert was also special. Every course was perfect!
