Some people complain about gentrification, but it does bring us lovely spots like LaColombe, Fishtown! This flagship location served us excellent breakfast sandwiches and delicious morning beverages-coffee for one, tea for the other. There was plenty of room to enjoy our meal, as well as wifi. We would like to return for the nightlife, which it seems to host after the coffee crowd has departed.
This place, similar to most other La Colombe’s branches, is such a lovely place. The indoor setting is quite huge and is lovely for working with a laptop (be careful because they don’t have wifi) and probably reading if you don’t mind reading while loud music is being played. The coffee is great, the bread loaves are delicious, but the pastries (except for the croissant) are not appealing. It still shouldn't be a concern to you if you normally don’t have sweets with your coffee. But if you’ve got sweet teeth, you’ll be a bit disappointed. They’re mostly too sweet, not that flavorful, and quite dense/stale. So far, I have had the chocolate muffin, the lemon muffin, and the pineapple carrot cake. None are worth the calories.
Love their coffee, this location’s vibe is awesome. All of staffs were super friendly!
Beautiful space to get your morning coffee! I am not a coffee drinker so I opted for their chia latte and it was great! Also their pastries are really good! The staff their were very friendly and the place ran very efficiently.
Where to begin. This place is what coffee shop dreams are made of. The coffee is spectacular, and the space itself if gorgeous. The pastries are amazing, the ham and butter is addictive, and their happy hour used to be one of the best around pre-covid. Draft Lattes are a must if you haven’t tried one, this place led the way. I don’t care where you’re from, NY, LA, or even the heart of Italy, this coffee will impress! There’s a reason why half the restaurants in town, and even NYC, use this stuff.
Welcome staff and beautiful space
Very cool interior and unassuming storefront. Staff was friendly and busy but both coffees came out perfect. They also have a bubbly and flat water fountain for those who want water with their coffee or meal.
This is a very nice place for coffee products. Very large coffee bar. Small retail area to buy coffee. Mostly beans, could use more already ground for those who prefer. The coffee beverages bought by our group were all very good.
The best La Colombe in all of Philly! Staff are always friendly and speedy. I just wish they had wifi and extended hours.
Pricey but really delicious breads and coffee.
