I called in and asked “what’s the most popular thing on the menu?” And the guy said “I don’t know we have burritos… etc.” so I simplified my question “when people call in, what’s the most frequent item that they request” I got the same nonchalant answer with attitude this time.Let me give a bit of a backstory. I actually used to work at a Taco stand before and people would ask me all the time what is the most popular item, which I would kindly say the Fat Man BurritoI don’t understand why this a***ole had to give me attitude on the phone when I was trying to support a small business. There’s a chipotle at Broad and Washington, think I’ll stick to that option instead of dealing with a***oles. It’s not a hard question, I really can’t understand why he couldn’t answer it. Long day at work? So you take it out on your customers? Best believe I WONT recommend this place to anyone and I’ll be sure to let them know the attitude they’ll receive upon asking for “the most popular item”.It really wasn’t a hard question, and the dude should honestly be fired. Lol.
Okay so I'm not going to lie, I was a little impatient about waiting for this sandwich. I just popped in this cute, unassuming corner joint to get my husband something quick for lunch. Or so I thought. It felt like I was sitting there, the only customer, on a wobbly stool, waiting for this takeout for an eternity. I've had a fair number of tortas in my time, and it seems like they always take like 5 or less mins to slap together before I'm on my way. This torta took a full TWENTY minutes to make. However, after walking home (somewhat grumpy) and trying a bite of this thing I immediately determined that I am not at all mad about waiting for this. It was fully 100% well worth it, and I will be back — I'll just call ahead next time.5 stars. Compliments to the chef!
Cozy inside while you wait for your food and so delicious ☺️ the boba bubble tea is legit too, the taro flavor reminds me of home in Hawaii
I ordered a meal last nite delivered, that was Teryaki Shrimp, rice & steam veg., it was horrible, the shrimp were overcooked and the rice was like mush with no taste, I threw the whole thing away!!!
I got the shrimp quesadilla and couldn't have asked for more. I really wanted to eat there but due to covid, wasn't able to. Regardless, I am glad I was able to support a local restaurant and the food was great. It came with a green and red salsa as well as a sour cream. There was a small side salad with avacado and pico mixed in. It hit the spot on a cold winter day!
This place is amazing. Food is quality and delicious, fast and kind service, good portions. Fair prices. Never had anything short of amazing from here
Service was really good food was okay
I don’t ever leave reviews, however, this place is beyond exceptional. The little lady up front with the Gucci glasses couldn’t be kinder. The smoked pork tacos were top 2 best tacos I’ve ever had. It comes with all the desired sides. I would travel to Philly just to eat this food on their stoop. Terrific experience.
It’s so good. I’m having to save this in my address book it’s so good.
Very good salsa and quesadilla. Portion sizes are very large
