My wife and I are regulars, but weâre excited by the new additions to the menu. The chicken with the prosciutto and onions was outstanding.
Genuine South Philly Italian. Appetizers were stellar. One entree was said to be excellent, the others were good. Dessert was very good as well. Don't forget your wine - or whatever it is you enjoy with dinner. Neither their website or Open table showed the restaurant as a BYOB - so unfortunately we were not prepared. They did indulge us with a half bottle of red! (So nice!!)

I have eaten here many times. It's my local favorite restaurant. The service was excellent as always. I was disappointed in my meal-Penne Melanzane. The presentation and flavors were just okay. This is the first time in 5 years I have been underwhelmed with the food there.
First time diners - excellent dinner and service. Definitely will return.

Wanted to really like this place after hearing many good reviews. Service, place, noise level and byob were positive. Sorry to say the food was not delicious. Grilled octopus was ruined by too much vinegar. Gnocchi were heavy and undercooked, even the sauce could not help it. Pappardelle pasta with mushrooms and shrimp would have been better, if the pasta was not over cooked and the amount of black pepper was overwhelming. We only ate about a quarter of our meals. Husband wanted a hot tea, was told, âSorry, no hot tea tonightâ. Maybe we just happened to dine on an off nightâ¹ï¸

We normally don't eat at Italian restaurants in philly, but our out of town friends really wanted to try one so we found this amazing small BYOB restaurant. From the service that Joseph provided to the amazing food that the small kitchen prepared, everything was wonderful. We tried veal, a seafood pasta dish, cheeses and mushroom dishes. Each one was outstanding. I highly recommend this place.
