Pictures below. Accessibility noted in review. The lunch specials are cheap, good eats, especially for the neighborhood. (No more than $15 pp with a drink). The restaurant appears to be accessible, as well. (See bathroom images). We’ve eaten here a few times, but this time I actually took some pictures for you.We can work from home on Fridays and stroll the half mile and scoop a lunch special, dine in, pay, and get home all within an hour. We usually get two rolls plus the miso or the salad which comes with the ginger miso fruity dressing thing. We’ve also had the ramen and it’s good.Try their iced tea that they make there. They brew it upon request, and they have different flavors available. We’ve had the peach and the mango. If you want it, I advise ordering it first/with your entree/app because they are brewing it as you order it.I’ve ordered the nigiri and sashimi and they could accommodate my palate, as well (I don’t like salmon). So we do usually get the lunch special of two rolls with soup or salad. I end up with spicy crunchy tuna and something else and my partner has the Philly plus something else. We’ve never been disappointed. The fish is fresh (if you’ve been to the Italian market—where this is located—you’ll understand). The service is great. You walk in and they’re usually ready to seat you. They take your order fairly quickly if you’re ready. They have canned sodas and ramune in addition to the tea I’ve recommended.Re: a11y It is close to the curb at Christian and 9th (2 storefronts in, I believe), and has no step up to get in. The doors are manual, so a person in a wheelchair may need assistance. Not sure of width of front door. Sushi counter may be accessible to motorized wheelchairs with higher seats. Bathroom appears accessible but, again, person in a wheelchair may need assistance opening the door as it’s manual. Bars. Sink is not automatic nor is it elongated but it’s rather spacious and the door appears to be wide enough. Would be interested to hear if folks in wheelchairs have been in and what their experience has been.

Absolutely delicious! We were looking for sushi in South Philly and this spot is amazing! Prices are good, service was fast and attentive, and all the food was great! I got the Kyushu roll and the Alaska roll, both were great! The ramen was also delicious!!

Was looking for a good place that had Sushi & Ramen in Philly. This place did not disappoint. Great food & Great service. If you don't go check this place out you are missing OUT.

My friend and I came here for the lunch special. I believe the lunch special was 3 sushi rolls for around $14. It was such a good deal and the sushi was made fresh. Below is a picture of the spicy tuna crunch roll, spicy crab roll and the salmon avocado roll. If you're not in the mood for sushi, definitely check out their ramen because I was very surprised in a good way that the broth was incredibly tasty and flavorful. I got the spicy shoyu ramen. It's very spicy but you can still taste a slight kick to it. We also had a free miso soup. I would definitely come back here again for my ramen and sushi fix. It is a recent new hidden gem tucked inside the Italian market. Cash only.

Our family dined in at Kyushu for Mother's Day sushi, sashimi, tempura and pork gyoza. Everything was fresh, high quality and delicious! The entrees include miso soup or salad and rice. The servings were generous and reasonably priced. Nice touch that they concocted a free Mother's Day fruit tea for me. The service was friendly and attentive. We are looking forward to trying their lunch specials (especially the bento box) on our next visit.

We ordered 7 special rolls party trays ! the roll tasted soooo gooood ! And they give me free edamame !Yummy yummy! Definitely coming back !

Tasty, delicious!Got lunch special 3 rolls - spicy salmon, spicy tuna and salmon avocado. Plus a seaweed salad!Fresh! Will be back again, thank you!

The food and service are always professional and high quality at Kyushu. They are thoughtful about small details, and quick to fill an order. The staff is polite and friendly. We love that they offer lunch on the weekends, too! Happy to have this sushi staple nearby.

Great vegetarian and vegan options. Ramen was good and so was the seaweed salad and sweet potato tempura rolls. The ambiance was also nice and warm. ❤️

The lunch special I ordered was tasty. Wish there was a sauce for the tempura shrimp. Sparkling water was on the menu but wasn't available when I asked for it. The inside of the restaurant is very nice.
