I feel like my rating is the average of many years of having this be the nearest cafe, with the best hours to fit my schedule. Have I occasionally gotten a latte with grounds in it? Yes. Did I once get a salmon sandwich with a shred of plastic wrap embedded in the cream cheese? Yes. Are the lines ungodly long if you make the mistake of going there on a weekend morning? Also yes. But am I totally willing to forgive all this because of all the times it's been there for me on a quiet afternoon on my way home from work? Definitely. Even on off days, their coffee is pretty good; the beans they have for sale are consistently incredible; 99% of the time the staff are super warm and friendly; the zucchini bread and banana bread are usually spectacular (again, every once in a while you'll get a dry piece, but if you have a drink to wash it down, it's still fine). It's not the place I'd recommend if you're from out of town and only have time to visit one coffee spot. But for a neighborhood mainstay, it's hard not to love.
When I went they were pretty busy. It wasn't a place you could go if you were in a hurry but it wasn't for lack of effort or staff. They had an extensive food menu which I would go back to investigate more. They're coffee is pretty good overall.
the food is great but one must brave a wall of incredible rudeness to enjoy it. and if the barista decides to punish you for…existing and “bothering” her with an order, you can expect food that’s underwhelming.in all fairness there is one barista that is consistently rude and the others are nice. the rude on seems to have the others afraid of her so idk if she’s the manager or what. but if i have to be snapped at while simply placing an order again i will never be back. she may have a vendetta against trans ppl as i am trans and several other customers i watched her snap at are as well. or maybe not. maybe she’s just as rude to everyone. i REALLY wish they wore name tags so i could specify which barista she is. incredibly demeaning and belittling. i am beyond disgusted and would welcome an indication that her behavior is specifically against my trans ness as grounds for litigation
great café, good menu options, and great atmosphere. i got the turkey, egg, and cheese, which, was okay but I would probably add the onions, cucumber, and tomato next time.my dad got the coffee and a bagel with lox which were really good.
such a great options with interesting flavors! so many vegan options too. i got an iced latte and the pistachio cardamom scone and it was the perfect texture and flavor - not too sweet. The rose pistachio cookie is also highly recommended. great ambience!
Wonderful little Cafe, staff is super humble! :') or maybe I'm used to the coldness of Seattle.Anyway, do try their Italian soda especially the Elderberry flavor, the owner makes the syrups themselves using elderberries and lime ?✨?Hummus sandwich is good too for all vegetarians out there ??
Exceptional coffee, very nice breakfast sandwich on a square bagel. But you can have a regular bagel, or pick from pastries like croissants and muffins. Ideal.
The coffee is good and the atmosphere is friendly! I also like the music they play. A great place to get work done. I only wish they had a gf sandwich option
I passed by this quaint little cafe and it looked really nice, so I decided to stop in and get a quick bite. It’s a small cozy cafe, so the vibes were great. Chatted with one of the girls behind the counter and she recommended I get an iced coffee with oat milk and lavender (what??). It turned out delicious! I also got the Lox sandwich which turned out amazing too. It’s great. 10/10. Lovely stuff y’all
Ordered an oat milk latte with a caramel flavor shot, and the barista was knowledgeable and thoughtful enough to warn me that the caramel flavoring contained dairy. My latte turned out to be amazing. 5 stars for service and quality products.
