The Doro Tibs are a great choice.
One of the best Ethiopian restaurants in Philadelphia. I’ve been eating at several of the Ethiopian restaurants in W Philly for over 20 years and hadn’t realized until recently that Kaffa Crossing had become a full service restaurant. Unlike some places that I’ve loved over the years whose prices have gotten higher and portions smaller, their $12 vegetarian combo was more than enough for two and very good. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. If you haven’t tried it, I’d strongly encourage you to have a meal there.
First time eating at an Ethiopian cuisine, was not what I was expecting. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. In fact I also bought the spices to add to my cooking.
Lovely authentic Ethiopian food. The service was very warm and comforting. Vegetarian options were great!
Yes, yes, yes, to all of it. The food is delicious, authentic, and it will keep you coming back for more. The lamb is spicy and tender, combined with the injera is just out of this world. The service is great and I always feel like I leave happy and full from this place. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some solid Ethiopian food in Philly.
I have been to a good amount of Ethiopian restaurants because of my love for the food, especially the injera (fermented bread) that it is served upon. I decided to come here for my birthday awhile back and was absolutely amazed by the deliciousness of the food here. It was all so flavorful and captivated my palate. I will surely be returning any chance that I get.
The restaurant is small and cozy. Both customer service and food was great. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
My favorite Ethiopian Spot.. Food is always good.. and Staff is always kind and accommodating..
First time eating Ethiopian cuisine, I was not ready for this deliciousness! I got the vegetarian combo. Portions were generous and their smoothies are fantastic as well. Can't wait to be in Philly again so I can bring my friends here!
This is our favorite Ethiopian restaurant and we love every chance we can come here. We take our friends when we can ☺️Get the veggie platter with spicy yebeg tibs and spicy kaffa tibs. The lamb and beef are sooooo flavorful and our friends who don't eat spicy foods all the time described both as being spiced/flavorful rather than hot/spicy. Veggie platter comes with a bunch of great sides. The salad and stewed cabbage/potatoes/carrots are my faves. My partner loves the split peas and collard greens. It can get busy, but customer service is fantastic and attentive! They always notice when we are running out of injera and bring out more for us ??
