This is probably the first time I am rating a food place 1 star. I have eaten a lot of unhealthy food but this one takes the cake. And I am not some American born confused desi to complain about unhygienic conditions. The food they serve is just plain oil with some chicken pieces. I can't imagine I paid 50$ for an extremely oily chicken gravy served in a tawa that was half burned. Who on earth puts the frying tawa on the dining table directly. What the actual fudge are they thinking? I am trying my best to be polite here but I can't. I was robbed.
Firstly 30 mins wait during non rush hour specially when ordering something that is already premade. Secondly the worst sweet flavored chicken Tikka masala ever tasted in my life. Also Chicken biryani is premade which they can't alter to your taste, really ? Better places out there for delicious food.
The pro is the food:. It’s delicious. The con is service is terrible, the desi guys at the counter walk around as if they’re doing something but just go from one place to the next staring into space so it takes twice as long to get food than it should. The front counter staff (the male ones anyway) are also rude, unhelpful and don’t know about the food/menu.Another con - the last few times I tried to order in advanced they said to come in and place the order they wouldn’t take it over the phone which was bizarre so I didn’t order.
Big, delicious kabob rolls! The lamb is skewer kabobs and grilled well. They put salad and a white sauce inside on a hot fresh naan. $11 very worth it and will fill you up.
Meats were flavorful and spicy, so good. Loved the chickpeas too. Hated the rice very bland we couldn’t eat much of it at all. Staff was very knowledgeable of the as it was our first time.
Probably the best Pakistani restaurant in Philly. It's not much to look at, but the food is fantastic. They've got a good variety of options, well balanced flavors, and generous servings.
Ordered chapli kababs from them because few months ago I happen to be ther and loved their chapli kababs very authentic, so I thought to order again since I am hosting an iftar. I was super excited picked up kababs and when I got home opened the foil tray something was offThe kabas were big burger type plus smelly like lamb meatThey are not at all close to chapliI am a Pakistani from Balochistan and believe me I know how chapli kabas look and tasteIt’s such a disappointmentI don’t know what they were thinkingHundreds of dollars worth but feel like throwing up.They look like a blob of meat to put in a burgerTaste nasty
The food here is delicious but I had to wait so long before I was able to enjoy my meal. Also the portions are quite large and the lady working the counter was pretty nice and gives good suggestions on what to order.
I wish I could give them ZERO STAR. Today February 12th, 2022. We came this place and found horrible service. We have been visited in Kabobeesh since 2007. Me and my family promised that we will never have their food, NOT anymore. The food was cold and tasteless. It was disgusting experience. The owner should take care of these kind of issues. The black lady at the cashier should knowing how to treat customers. Not Recommend.
Chicken karahi is made to order and you need 3 folks to finish it. Awesome desserts too. Used to drive all the way from Newark DE for this ?
