I Love This Place Most Importantly The Breakfast Is On Point!. I usually get the (Fired Dumplings with Ackee & Saltfish) Whatever I Ordered to Me Was Good!. I No Longer Lives In Philly & I Really Miss This Place Food Alot. But Whatever I Visit Philly This Is Definitely One Of My Go To Stop. Don't Just Take My Words Go & See It For Yourself. I Miss You K & J!.

Have been coming here for years, the food is always fresh and delicious. Come early for plantains, they're almost always gone by the end of the day! My favorite is the curried goat, all the sides are great too!

First time ordering from this place and it was not bad at all!! Especially because they are actually opened on Sundays. Everything was very tasteful, I’m big on flavors. The only reason why im giving this business a 4 Star rating is, because the chicken tasted like it was made the day before & the mac & cheese could be a little cheesier. Besides that, it was great. Probably would go back again due to the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Great job K&J.

My boyfriend went to get food even though I told him I had ordered from there before and my food was old and dry. This time he got me oxtails macaroni and yams with rice and peas and I was shocked to find they cut the portion or batch with turkey tails INSTEAD of oxtails like no one would notice. The macaroni had no salt or pepper and the yams hadn’t even been properly peeled or any flavor except for an insignificant amount of cloves….If I could give 0 stars I would. Disappointed again

We eat here a lot and the food never disappoints. The oxtails and jerk chicken are the best, and the aren't stingy with the portions. Definitely worth checking them out if your looking for great authentic Jamaican food ??❤️❤️

Their oxtails are tender and delicious, huge portions! I also love the strawberry crunch cake!

I've been coming here to eat before almost 20 years now. The food is always great and the owner is a really nice guy. Your first time here definitely won't be your last time!

Ordered jerk wings with cabbage and Mac and cheese, everything had no taste or flavor it was unbelievable! Paid 14 with a drink and was very disappointed. This place food use to be good, unfortunately I will never go back. Bland food, bland service. I asked for some jerk sauce to try to give the food some flavor and they gave me some broth which also taste bland.

I had K&J cater a memorial gathering for my teacher. He was born in Jamaica and was a regular at the restaurant. Their food is excellent. We had jerk chicken, curry chicken, whiting, rice and peas, collard greens, candied yams, and cabbage (and they threw in an order of plantains). It was an incredible feast, and I am still thinking about it. The flavors are subtle but powerful, and the technique is masterful.I had been working on the memorial for nine months (we needed to postpone due to COVID), and it was deeply gratifying to see the excellent food arrayed in large chafing trays. I am deeply grateful for their contribution to our memorial. As one friend commented, it was exactly as our teacher would have wanted.
