I Purchased A 1/4 Lb Of Cooked Lobster Claws Among Other Items At This Location In The Reading Terminal. Upon Eating One It Was Apparently Unfit For Human Consumption. I Returned The Complete Amount And Had To Dance With The Salesmen Over Everything. Finally Spoke To The Off-site Manager Who Issued A Store Credit. I'm Done With That Store After Going There Numerous Times Because Of The Poor Return Issue Personally Confronted With!!!?

I've purchased both “good” fish and “bad” fish at this location. Unfortunately, the “bad” fish purchases is the “sole”, (no pun intended), reason for this review. I recently purchased approximately $60 worth of fish only to be dissatisfied at the level of UN-freshness after I opened it at home.

Their salmon is amazing - all you need is a little olive oil, some salt and pepper, and your favorite spice/herb to bring out an amazing flavor and texture.

We would regularly buy jumbo lump crab meat here at $55/lb. my family was ok with this spending the extra cash for USA blue crab. And until today had gotten a great product. Mostly all lump. Today we purchased a pound of “jumbo lump crab meat” at $60/lb. Obviously, they raised the price. Again, we were fine with the higher price assuming our purchase would be of the same quality. It was/is NOT. We opened the container of “jumbo lump” and what is pictured is what we got. Not jumbo lump. We contacted the store to see how we could correct the situation and did not receive good customer service at all. The woman told us what we typically purchase is “jumbo meat from Mexico”. Not at all what the packages state. The package says USA. She was completely unwilling to explain why we pay extra for packaged crab meat we expect is from the US EAST COAST as stated. She repeatedly told us it was from Mexico. We have no problem paying for a quality product from the US but feel this company played a “bait and switch” and did nothing to fix it when addressed. Not a trustworthy company and even more than lacking customer service. Poor customer service and a disgrace to Reading Terminal Market.

Fantastic!!!!! My boyfriend and I only purchase fish from here now. We once made sushi with their sushi-grade salmon and tuna, and it was lovely. Best fish place in Philly by far!
