I love Jamba but this location is particularly careless , I ordered an peachy green goodness bowl with honey , when I recieved it I pointed out that it was made wrong . It had blueberries added into the bowl and no honey after I was charged an extra $1 for a drizzle of honey . I pointed out to the worker that the recipe doesn’t call for blueberries and her response was “yes it does” as I’m reading to her the ingredients it says right on the menu in front of my face , blueberries were nowhere to be found. She then proceeded to ignore me and go to the back of the restaurant and converse with other employees. Completely ignoring me as a customer. They simply need to hire better staff
Jamba Juice is one of the most popular spots on campus to grab a quick snack after a workout or between classes. It accepts cash, credit / debit, diamond dollars AND meal equivalencies. Lines are usually out the door but these ladies don't seem to be phased at all by the stress and still remain polite. I found that going during class times means I won't have to wait. It is in a convenient location on Temple University's campus that is walking distance from classes and downstairs of the STAR gym. There is a wide variety of items to choose from that are customizable like freshly squeezed juice, smoothies, smoothie bowls, breakfast, lunch or dinner meals. I can add boosts to my drinks and bowls like antioxidants, protein and different seeds. I find that the consistency of the smoothies are perfect and the same each time I go. The staff always welcomes me AND remembers my name AND my order even though I go only a couple times a week!
This Jamba Juice on Temple Campus is the BEST. I go here every morning to get an AÇAÍ BOWL. Ms. T who works here is the best ever along with Sandra they make my presence feel welcomed.
The cashier is well-meaning and works hard, but the small store is understaffed, and the line builds up regularly, leaving the cashier no choice but to stop taking orders and start making orders. Often the other workers aren’t really moving fast, further adding to the buildup of a queue and backed up orders. This also causes the drinks to come out tasting nothing like they should (mango smoothie that tastes like orange and pineapple and peanut butter smoothie tasting like milk and banana). Considering the price of the drinks, I would expect better quality and quantity.
Ok so, I want to like this place so badly. But the people who work here make it increasingly hard. My first few experiences there were pretty normal. The last 3 times I've went though, the women behind the counter were ridiculously rude. No one greeted us (I brought a friend in hopes of getting him to try something new and actually healthy), The one girl kept telling us that they didn't have any of the drinks that my friend asked for but refused to tell him what they actually had so that he could order something and then became rude and talked about him while we were still at the counter. The customer service here is horrible...and I keep trying, but I'm done vouching for and taking my money to this place.
Acai bowl is amazing. I didn't think this was open to the public but it was and I am so happy Jamba is finally in North Philly!
The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the smoothies are perfect as well. The only concern I have is that the staff here is sometimes too slow. It sometimes takes too long for people to get their orders and if that were sped up, this place is a definite five-star.
The service is extremely slow. It’s honestly unbelievable. I know they usually have a very long line, but the employees behind the counter move at the pace of a snail. It seems somewhat purposeful. I’m almost at my 45 minutes of waiting instead of doing homework.
The older lady with glasses at the counter treated me un fair . I always go to Jamba Juice after class . One day she got up set because I nicely asked her to re blend my smoothie that was hard to swallow . The next day I came for a smoothie and she was there . I waited 20 minutes for my smoothie , the place was not crowded at all , she purposely made orders for ppl who walked in after me . When it was finally my turn to get my smoothie , she called my name and I said thank you , she didn’t say anything , that’s how I knew she was intentionally being rude . I hope you guys can confront her about this . I love Jamba Juice I don’t want to stop supporting this company because of the actions of one inconsiderate employee.
This establishment is not equipped to handle the volume of customers it gets. Staff seem overworked and by the end of the day, if not the start, there is often a long list of ingredients they have run out of. The food itself is good though.
