Don’t eat here!! The owner started by telling me he didn’t have most of what’s on the menu because he didn’t want to pay for higher prices. I was one of four people in the restaurant, but it took an hour for my order. The worst of it though, he over charged me and when I pointed this out he said “everything has gone up, man” and refused to rectify the situation. The guys wife cooked the food and served it while he just yelled at her. Don’t give these people your money.
It was pretty good pho, but there was no AC in there.
Came with my bf and his parents and we all ordered pho. His parents were visiting from Vietnam, so they know the real deal and they were very dissatisfied. For my and my bf, it was just okay as well. I ordered the “deluxe” and there wasn’t much meat, honestly I don’t even know if it had all the meat listed. The server was pretty nice, but at the same time, I feel like they should tell customers about the credit/debit card fee beforehand. I was feeling okay about the place but then the bill came and said they charge 4% for cards? I have never seen such thing unless it’s a cash only place, even then it was always 1-3%.That part honestly made the whole experience worse than how we were already feeling.
We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one person who does both cooking, serving, and cashier. We understand so we basically served ourselves. But he ended up charged us $10 more than the price on the menu and told us afterwards the menu need to be updated. I think it is more appropriate to tell people ahead of time the menu is out dated.
We ordered pho here for the second time tonight and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken pho and my fiancé had beef pho. We also ordered a side of rice and the veggie spring rolls. The owner is very friendly and sweet. We will continue to support this business and recommend it to our friends and neighbors.
FYI: iPho is BYOBOverall had a good time at iPho, with great service, a comfortable atmospheres, and fairly tasty options.I will say that when we visited many items were unavailable due to supply chain issues, which I'd have appreciated be made clear on the menu.If you're looking for Vietnamese food in the Fairmount area, this a solid option.
Nice clean little corner spot. I really enjoyed the no. 40 beef pho although they were all out of rice noodles, the Ramen replacement was still quite tasty. The broth was excellent, very fresh ingredients. I was also delighted with the complimentary tea, as it was a very cold day. Although I do not live in the neighborhood I would definitely return and highly recommend!
Delicious, reasonably priced Vietnamese food. The owner is fun and generous. We would definitely come back!
The first time I went there, they lied and said they were closing because they were understaffed, today we try and give them a second chance being that we were in the neighborhood and we sat for 20 mins before they came and bought us water and a menu, only for them to tell us that they only have water and are only making us shrimp dishes because they’re tired and want to close early aka we don’t want to serve you! This is my second experience at this place and i didn’t even get to eat, so I can definitely say without a doubt I WILL NEVER COME BACK! Horrendous service! Don’t waste your time or money!
We only had to drive 7.5 hours for the best Pho ever! We ordered a large to share and still had half leftover. The portions are large and price is great for pho of this quality. And that grilled chicken...it was amazing, so tender and juicy. I would say it had a teriyaki flavor, if you like that. We were certainly not disappointed and are glad to have discovered this gem while visiting Philadelphia.
