In my experience, this place has the best croissants in the city! I love croissants and I’ve tried so many different places, and this is the only one that has ever stuck out to me in Philadelphia. Also, all their other items are great and I love getting their different lemonades they have throughout the seasons.
This place has the best pastries, macarons, and lavender lemonade that I’ve ever had in my life. We come every so often and buy all that we can for our family of 5 to enjoy. The Kouign Amanns are INSANE, any one that you choose will be delectable. The Cruffins are delicious, and the macarons are made with both intricacy AND love. Their lavender lemonade is what got me obsessed with learning how to make it myself because it’s amazing, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Their croissants are also delicious and the best ever but I don’t get them as much because I’m obsessed with everything else. If you haven’t been, please go. I wish I had more pictures but we ate everything but the macarons immediately because we are saving them to eat while we watch “our show” lol. If you haven’t been, trust me, you need to try this all immediately. I have nothing bad to say and have never had anything that wasn’t top tier here.
I'm vegan, and tried the three vegan pastries (they only have them available on Saturdays). They were some of the most incredible pastries I've eaten, so fresh and well made. Truly amazing and a must try!
AMAZING macarons! The flavors are unique and subtle at the same time and there is the perfect ratio of filling to cookie. My husband bought me a whole box for my birthday, which I am happily munching my way through!
I don't normally care for macarons all that much but the macarons here are truly fantastic. The other pastries are excellent as well. There's a line outside for a reason.
Delicious variety of cruffin like desserts. J got the matcha green tea filled cruffin that was super rich in flavor. The exterior was extremely crispy with every bite while the interior was soft and buttery. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite that is walking in east Philly.
This place has INCREDIBLE pastries and macaroons. We'll be back. Soon. And often.
I don't have much to say but I will say that the man working the day I was here was very friendly and that the macarons were fantastic. Took them to go and drove back to the Poconos before even sampling and they were simply incredible. Had a sampler of 8 different ones and I'd get each one again (although the pistachio was my favorite), hard not to give this place 5 stars.I got a little artsy with their photos too haha
Was super excited to try their Kouign-amann and other pastries. I also got a feta and spinach croissant. First bite and there was a hair... very off putting.
Chocolate kouign amann was my favorite. The pastry had a perfect caramelized crust and was perfectly flaky. The chocolate was such a good addition. Yum! My husband liked the butter croissant so much we went back for a second one the next day.Now to the macaroons.. so truly good. The cookie was perfect and the fillings were just right and full of flavor. I had the dark chocolate one and then the almond one day 2. Hubby had the peanut butter chocolate one & a dark chocolate one (we shared so we each had all 4) they were so good. Enjoy supporting another small business owner. My only suggestion for improvement would be to be open more days/hours for your customers.
