Really good vegan cheesesteak at this fast casual restaurant. The grilled onions and mushrooms with the “steak meat” was completed by a touch of ketchup and a nice roll. They also have chik’n nuggets, sandwiches, burgers, and salads here. Location is near city hall so access is easy if you’re in the Love park area and want a quick bite to eat. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.Go here if you don’t eat meat but want the Philadelphia experience!
Great place. As a vegetarian, it's often hard to find options. That is not the case in Philadelphia. I will say I visited this place twice in a week long vacation just because it was so good. The entire place is vegan but the food could rival any fast food place meat or not.Strongly recommend the nuggets and shakes.It's a little pricey but what vegan place isn't.
cost $13 and wasn't as big as expected sub was a little salty/ dry but still good. Loved the texture and look of my vegan cheese steaks. Id try other items☺
Above and beyond customer service, very nice people. Everything was so good. My favorite was the Buffalo salad with bleu cheese dressing and the Philly cheesesteak. Love their free sauces also, mildly sweet and sooo delicious. Even my non vegan brother in law loved it. He really enjoyed the hip city smoky sweet chik’n’ wrap. They also offer catering. Love to Support 100% plant based, cruelty free. Highly recommended. Def coming back again, probably tomorrow haha can’t wait.

This HipCityVeg location at Broad St is wonderful. They have tons of delicious food options for vegans and with all of the flavor and creativity, any person can enjoy! Their customer service is always very helpful and friendly ? Highly recommend and you can order online for a quick pickup! Their dairy free shakes are phenomenal as well and I loved their #pride special this year.
I don’t know if they changed manufactures or if the cooks just can’t get it right. The last two/three times I ordered were not great. The fries are always burnt, and the last two sandwiches I had was like eating glue. When HCV first opened up they were great but it seems like they changed the formula of everything and hasn’t been enjoyable.
I love HipCityVeg food. The fast food non-meat options all taste great.While I want to give 5 stars, I have never received a full or correct order. My latest order was missing the $15 sandwich and all sauces. I’ve consistently never received the chips I’ve ordered.Eat here because the food is great, but do NOT order online. It won’t be correct.
Let’s start off by saying this. I used to work for hip city veg years ago & I love Nicole and what she stands for. The food: was bland, overpriced ( 20 dollars for a sandwich) and was late like always. Very disappointed, because I can make this 100% better at home being vegan 11 years with culinary experience. Won’t be coming back and wasting my time & money. I also wish people would understand this good isn’t hard to make.
Not si clean, not so tidy, food only decent, and everybody there without mask, staff and customers.
