Delicious vegan smokey sweet crispy chick’n wrap + buffalo sauce, the sweet potato fries were so good I didn’t need to dip them in sauce. Tangerine and turmeric lemonade and chocolate shake to boot. Highly recommend for a quick bite if you like plant based or looking for vegan options.
I'm not usually a meatless burger person, but I really enjoy the burgers here. They also have a fantastic chocolate shake that I get every time I go.
I’m not vegan but I love this place. Their Crispy Buffalo Bleu Sandwich with sweet potato fries is a MOST TRY. A lil price for some ppl but I think it’s worth it. ?
Love hipcity veg for fast vegan food. Good balance of healthy and guilty pleasures. Worth the price (but not really much different than shake shack nowadays).Staff super sweet!
Outstanding food quality and taste. Limited options for sides and deserts but all the menu entrees we tried were worth the hefty cost. Also to our surprise the food traveled well and was delicious after delivery to our hotel
Nothing out of the ordinary, the Vegi/Cheesesteak - mushrooms ? are within the steak ? which I did not care for, and I had 3 sandwiches ? while in the Philly area. Two fully dressed and 1 with only steak and mushrooms. If on the geaux and need something quick, this is it. It's vegi fast food Philly style.
So delicious!! Their burgers and cheesesteaks are delicious and their soy milkshake is yummy. Also, get the sweet potato fries with the Hip City Veg sauce!
The food is fantastic. Portions are good. Their vegan cheese actually melts well. Staff is friendly and it's not overpriced. What more could you ask for?
I drove to Philly from Jersey City for a day trip. I have never had a Philly Cheesesteak, so I came here for my 1st experience. I ordered a cheesesteak with a side of sweet potato fries (VERY yummy), then my bf and I walked across the street so he could experience his first (meat) version. We opened our sandwiches at the same time:His looked AMAZING looking. Mine? I might as well ordered a chopped up veggie burger with ketchup and a tiny bit of cheese on top. There were supposed to be onions and such on it? Nope - not on mine.Either I am not into Cheesesteaks or this was just... Blah.For some reason, I think it could have been better. The flavors were super boring and one note. Even though I did not have any onions, there was no flavor... just ketchup.ehI am going to try another vegan Philly Cheesesteak place and see what's up. If I am still "blah" about the sandwich itself, I will come back to this review and apologize. I feel like it could have had a bit more flavor.
Excellent vegan food! I had a matcha mint milkshake and vegan Philly cheese steak sandwich that I righteously devoured. My new fav spot when I travel to the East coast.
